Jeremías 15

Yo no me senté en el círculo de aquellos que celebraron o se regocijaron. Yo me senté en soledad a causa de Tu poderosa mano, porque Tú me llenas con indignación.

No me senté en compañía de burladores, ni me engreí á causa de tu profecía; sentéme solo, porque me llenaste de desabrimiento.

I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.

I didn’t sit in the assembly of those who make merry and rejoice. I sat alone because of your hand, for you have filled me with indignation.
