Che se eglino saranno indocili, sradicherò totalmente, e sterminerò quella nazione, dice il Signore. Il cingolo di Geremia nascosto presso all'Eufrate, dove marcisce, figura di Gerusalemme rigettata, e abbandonata da Dio. Esortazione alla penitenza; minaccia de’ futuri gastighi.

Mas si no oyeren, arrancaré á la tal gente, sacándola de raíz, y destruyendo, dice Jehová.

But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.
