Jeremías 11

La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de par l'Éternel en ces mots :

PALABRA que fué de Jehová, á Jeremías, diciendo:

Écoutez les paroles de cette alliance, et dites-les aux hommes de Juda et aux habitants de Jérusalem !

Oid las palabras de este pacto, y hablad á todo varón de Judá, y á todo morador de Jerusalem.

Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

“Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

Et tu leur diras : Ainsi parle l'Éternel, Dieu d'Israël : Maudit l'homme qui n'écoute pas les paroles de cette alliance,

Y les dirás tú: Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Maldito el varón que no obedeciere las palabras de este pacto,

And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,

and say to them, the LORD, the God of Israel says: ‘Cursed is the man who doesn’t hear the words of this covenant,

que je prescrivis à vos pères le jour où je les tirai du pays d'Egypte, du fourneau de fer, en disant : Obéissez à ma voix, et faites tout ce que je vous commanderai, et vous serez mon peuple, et je serai votre Dieu,

El cual mandé á vuestros padres el día que los saqué de la tierra de Egipto, del horno de hierro, diciéndoles: Oid mi voz, y ejecutad aquéllas, conforme á todo lo que os mando, y me seréis por pueblo, y yo seré á vosotros por Dios;

Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:

pour que j'accomplisse le serment que je fis à vos pères, de leur donner le pays découlant de lait et de miel, comme †vous le voyez aujourd'hui. Et je répondis et dis : Ainsi soit-il, Éternel !

Para que confirme el juramento que hice á vuestros padres, que les daría la tierra que corre leche y miel, como este día. Y respondí, y dije: Amén, oh Jehová.

That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.

Et l'Éternel me dit : Proclame toutes ces paroles dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, disant : Écoutez les paroles de cette alliance, et exécutez-les.

Y Jehová me dijo: Pregona todas estas palabras en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalem, diciendo: Oid las palabras de este pacto, y ponedlas por obra.

Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.

The LORD said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.

Car je sommai vos pères dès le jour où je les tirai du pays d'Egypte, jusqu'aujourd'hui, les sommant dès le matin et disant : Obéissez à ma voix !

Porque con eficacia protesté á vuestros padres el día que los hice subir de la tierra de Egipto hasta el día de hoy, madrugando y protestando, diciendo: Oid mi voz.

For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.

Mais ils n'ont ni obéi, ni prêté l'oreille, et ils ont marché chacun suivant l'obstination de son cœur mauvais ; aussi j'exécuterai sur eux toutes les paroles de cette alliance que je leur commandai d'observer, et qu'ils n'ont point observée.

Mas no oyeron, ni inclinaron su oído, antes se fueron cada uno tras la imaginación de su corazón malvado: por tanto, traeré sobre ellos todas las palabras de este pacto, el cual mandé que cumpliesen, y no lo cumplieron.

Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not.

Yet they didn’t obey, nor turn their ear, but everyone walked in the stubbornness of their evil heart. Therefore I brought on them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they didn’t do them.’”

Et l'Éternel me dit : Il existe une conjuration entre les hommes de Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem.

Y díjome Jehová: Conjuración se ha hallado en los varones de Judá, y en los moradores de Jerusalem.

And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

The LORD said to me, “A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Ils retournent aux péchés de leurs premiers pères qui refusèrent d'obéir à mes paroles, et suivirent d'autres dieux pour les servir : la maison d'Israël et la maison de Juda ont rompu l'alliance que j'avais traitée avec leurs pères.

Hanse vuelto á las maldades de sus primeros padres, los cuales no quisieron escuchar mis palabras, antes se fueron tras dioses ajenos para servirles; la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá invalidaron mi pacto, el cual había yo concertado con sus padres.

They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

Aussi, ainsi parle l'Éternel : Voici, j'amène sur vous des maux d'où vous ne pourrez sortir ; et ils crieront vers moi, mais je ne les écouterai pas.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo traigo sobre ellos mal del que no podrán salir; y clamarán á mí, y no los oiré.

Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

Therefore the LORD says, ‘Behold, I will bring evil on them which they will not be able to escape; and they will cry to me, but I will not listen to them.

Qu'elles aillent donc, les villes de Juda, et les habitants de Jérusalem ! et qu'ils crient aux dieux qu'ils encensent ; mais ils ne leur aideront point au moment de leur malheur.

E irán las ciudades de Judá y los moradores de Jerusalem, y clamarán á los dioses á quienes queman ellos inciensos, los cuales no los podrán salvar en el tiempo de su mal.

Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry to the gods to which they offer incense, but they will not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

Car tel le nombre de tes villes, tel est le nombre de tes dieux, Juda, et autant il y a de rues à Jérusalem, autant vous avez élevé d'autels à l'infamie, d'autels pour encenser Baal.

Porque según el número de tus ciudades fueron tus dioses, oh Judá; y según el número de tus calles, oh Jerusalem, pusisteis los altares de ignominia, altares para ofrecer sahumerios á Baal.

For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.

For according to the number of your cities are your gods, Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem you have set up altars to the shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal.’

Mais toi, n'intercède pas pour ce peuple, et en sa faveur n'élève ni supplication, ni prière, car je n'écouterai point quand ils m'invoqueront à cause de leurs maux.

Tú pues, no ores por este pueblo, ni levantes por ellos clamor ni oración; porque yo no oiré el día que en su aflicción á mí clamaren.

Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

“Therefore don’t pray for this people. Don’t lift up cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry to me because of their trouble.

Qu'y a-t-il pour mon bien-aimé dans ma maison ? La foule y fait le crime. La chair sacrée te laissera à découvert, quand tes maux arriveront ; c'est alors que tu seras alarmé.

¿Qué tiene mi amado en mi casa, habiendo hecho abominaciones muchas? Y las carnes santas pasarán de sobre ti, porque en tu maldad te gloriaste.

What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.

What has my beloved to do in my house, since she has behaved lewdly with many, and the holy flesh has passed from you? When you do evil, then you rejoice.”

Olivier verdoyant, beau de son fruit aimable, tel est le nom que tu reçus de l'Éternel. Au bruit d'un grand fracas Il allume le feu autour de lui, et l'on brise ses rameaux ;

Oliva verde, hermosa en fruto y en parecer, llamó Jehová tu nombre. A la voz de gran palabra hizo encender fuego sobre ella, y quebraron sus ramas.

The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

The LORD called your name, “A green olive tree, beautiful with goodly fruit.” With the noise of a great roar he has kindled fire on it, and its branches are broken.

et l'Éternel des armées qui te planta, t'annonce des calamités à cause de la méchanceté qu'ont montrée la maison d'Israël et la maison de Juda, pour m'irriter en encensant Baal.

Pues Jehová de los ejércitos, que te plantó, ha pronunciado mal contra ti, á causa de la maldad de la casa de Israel y de la casa de Judá, que hicieron á sí mismos, provocándome á ira con incensar á Baal.

For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

For the LORD of Armies, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done to themselves in provoking me to anger by offering incense to Baal.

L'Éternel m'a informé, et j'ai su…, c'est alors que Tu as mis pour moi leurs œuvres en évidence.

Y Jehová me lo hizo saber, y conocílo: entonces me hiciste ver sus obras.

And the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings.

The LORD gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it. Then you showed me their doings.

Cependant j'étais comme l'agneau familier que l'on mène à la tuerie, et je ne me doutais pas qu'ils méditassent des plans contre moi : « Détruisons l'arbre avec son fruit, et extirpons-le de la terre des vivants, et que son nom ne soit plus rappelé ! »

Y yo como cordero inocente que llevan á degollar, pues no entendía que maquinaban contra mí designios, diciendo: Destruyamos el árbol con su fruto, y cortémoslo de la tierra de los vivientes, y no haya más memoria de su nombre.

But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter. I didn’t know that they had devised plans against me, saying, “Let’s destroy the tree with its fruit, and let’s cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.”

Mais l'Éternel des armées est un juste Juge ; Il sonde les reins et le cœur. Je serai témoin de la vengeance que tu tireras d'eux, car c'est à Toi que je me suis ouvert de mes griefs.

Mas, oh Jehová de los ejércitos, que juzgas justicia, que sondas los riñones y el corazón, vea yo tu venganza de ellos: porque á ti he descubierto mi causa.

But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

But, LORD of Armies, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, I will see your vengeance on them; for to you I have revealed my cause.

Aussi, voici ce que prononce l'Éternel contre les gens d'Anathoth qui en veulent à ma vie et disent : « Ne prophétise plus au nom de l'Éternel, si tu veux ne pas mourir de notre main ! »

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová de los varones de Anathoth, que buscan tu alma, diciendo: No profetices en nombre de Jehová, y no morirás á nuestras manos:

Therefore thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:

“Therefore the LORD says concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, ‘You shall not prophesy in the LORD’s name, that you not die by our hand’—

Aussi, voici ce que l'Éternel des armées prononce : Voici, je vais les châtier : les jeunes hommes périront par l'épée, et leurs fils et leurs filles périront par la famine ;

Así pues ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: He aquí que yo los visito; los mancebos morirán á cuchillo; sus hijos y sus hijas morirán de hambre;

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:

therefore the LORD of Armies says, ‘Behold, I will punish them. The young men will die by the sword. Their sons and their daughters will die by famine.

et rien ne restera d'eux ; car je vais amener des maux sur les hommes d'Anathoth, au temps de leur châtiment.

Y no quedará resto de ellos: porque yo traeré mal sobre los varones de Anathoth, año de su visitación.

And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation.

There will be no remnant to them, for I will bring evil on the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation.’”
