Jeremías 11

Io esortai fortemente i padri vostri dal dì, in cui li trassi dalla terra d'Egitto fino al dì d'oggi; di buon mattino io li esortava, e diceva: Udite la mia voce:

Porque con eficacia protesté á vuestros padres el día que los hice subir de la tierra de Egipto hasta el día de hoy, madrugando y protestando, diciendo: Oid mi voz.

For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
