E Dio rendette ad Abimelech il male ch'egli avea fatto contro il padre suo avendo uccisi settanta suoi fratelli.

Así pues pagó Dios á Abimelech el mal que hizo contra su padre matando á sus setenta hermanos.

Thus God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren:
