49Da hieben auch sämtliche Krieger Mann für Mann einen Busch für sich ab, zogen dann hinter Abimelech her, warfen (das Holz) oben auf den Keller und setzten so den Keller von obenher in Brand, so daß nun auch alle Bewohner der Burg von Sichem ihren Tod fanden, ungefähr tausend Männer und Frauen.
