Los parientes de su madre hablaron por él a los líderes de Siquem, y estuvieron de acuerdo en seguir a Abimelec, pues dijeron: "Él es nuestro hermano."

Y hablaron por él los hermanos de su madre á oídos de todos los de Sichêm todas estas palabras: y el corazón de ellos se inclinó en favor de Abimelech, porque decían: Nuestro hermano es.

And his mother’s brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech; for they said, He is our brother.
