Die sandte hin und liess Barak, den Sohn Abinoams, aus Kedes in Naphthali rufen und sprach zu ihm: Fürwahr, der Herr, der Gott Israels, gebietet dir: Geh, ziehe auf den Berg Thabor und nimm zehntausend Mann von Naphthali und Sebulon mit dir;

And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

dann ziehe ich den Sisera, den Feldherrn Jabins, samt seinen Wagen und seinen Heerhaufen zu dir an den Bach Kison und gebe ihn in deine Hand.

Y yo atraeré á ti al arroyo de Cisón á Sísara, capitán del ejército de Jabín, con sus carros y su ejército, y entregarélo en tus manos?

And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.

Barak sprach zu ihr: Wenn du mit mir gehst, so gehe ich; gehst du aber nicht mit mir, so gehe ich nicht.

And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.

Sie sprach: Gut, ich gehe mit dir; nur wird dann der Ruhm des Zuges, den du unternimmst, nicht dir zufallen; denn der Herr wird Sisera in die Hand eines Weibes verkaufen. So machte sich Debora auf und zog mit Barak nach Kedes.

Y ella dijo: Iré contigo; mas no será tu honra en el camino que vas; porque en mano de mujer venderá Jehová á Sísara. Y levantándose Débora fué con Barac á Cedes.

And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

She said, “I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the journey that you take won’t be for your honor; for the LORD will sell Sisera into a woman’s hand.” Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

Da entbot Barak Sebulon und Naphthali nach Kedes, und zehntausend Mann folgten ihm auf dem Fusse; auch Debora zog mit ihm.

Y juntó Barac á Zabulón y á Nephtalí en Cedes, y subió con diez mil hombres á su mando, y Débora subió con él.

And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.

Heber aber, der Keniter, hatte sich von den Kenitern, den Söhnen Hobabs, des Schwiegervaters Moses, getrennt und hatte zuletzt sein Zelt bei der Eiche von Zaanaim aufgeschlagen, das bei Kedes liegt.

Y Heber Cineo, de los hijos de Hobab suegro de Moisés, se había apartado de los Cineos, y puesto su tienda hasta el valle de Zaananim, que está junto á Cedes.

Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh.

Als man nun dem Sisera meldete, dass Barak, der Sohn Abinoams, auf den Berg Thabor gezogen sei,

Debora aber sprach zu Barak: Auf! Denn dies ist der Tag, da der Herr den Sisera in deine Hand gegeben hat. Fürwahr, schon ist der Herr vor dir her ausgezogen. Da stieg Barak vom Berge Thabor herunter und zehntausend Mann ihm nach.

Entonces Débora dijo á Barac: Levántate; porque este es el día en que Jehová ha entregado á Sísara en tus manos. ¿No ha salido Jehová delante de ti? Y Barac descendió del monte de Tabor, y diez mil hombres en pos de él.

And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

Und der Herr brachte Verwirrung vor Barak über Sisera und alle Wagen und das ganze Heer, sodass Sisera vom Wagen sprang und zu Fuss floh.

Y Jehová desbarató á Sísara, y á todos sus carros y á todo su ejército, á filo de espada delante de Barac: y Sísara descendió del carro, y huyó á pie.

And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.

Und Barak jagte den Wagen und dem Heere nach bis Haroseth-Gojim; und das ganze Heer Siseras fiel durch die Schärfe des Schwertes, auch nicht einer blieb übrig.

Mas Barac siguió los carros y el ejército hasta Haroseth de las Gentes, y todo el ejército de Sísara cayó á filo de espada, hasta no quedar ni uno.

Sisera aber war zu Fuss zum Zelte Jaels, des Weibes des Keniters Heber, geflohen; denn es war Friede zwischen Jabin, dem König von Hazor, und dem Hause des Keniters Heber.

Y Sísara se acogió á pie á la tienda de Jael mujer de Heber Cineo; porque había paz entre Jabín rey de Asor y la casa de Heber Cineo.

Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.

Und Jael trat heraus, dem Sisera entgegen, und sprach zu ihm: Kehre nur ein, Herr, kehre nur ein bei mir, fürchte dich nicht! Und er kehrte bei ihr ein ins Zelt, und sie deckte ihn mit der Decke zu.

And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.

Er aber sprach zu ihr: Gib mir doch ein wenig Wasser zu trinken, ich habe Durst. Da öffnete sie den Milchschlauch, gab ihm zu trinken und deckte ihn wieder zu.

Y él le dijo: Ruégote me des á beber una poca de agua, que tengo sed. Y ella abrió un odre de leche y dióle de beber, y tornóle á cubrir.

And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.

He said to her, “Please give me a little water to drink; for I am thirsty.” She opened a container of milk, and gave him a drink, and covered him.

Und er sprach zu ihr: Stelle dich an den Eingang des Zeltes, und wenn einer kommt und dich fragt: Ist jemand hier? so sage: Nein.

Y él le dijo: Estáte á la puerta de la tienda, y si alguien viniere, y te preguntare, diciendo: ¿Hay aquí alguno? tú responderás que no.

Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.

He said to her, “Stand in the door of the tent, and if any man comes and inquires of you, and says, ‘Is there any man here?’ you shall say, ‘No.’”

Nun holte Jael, das Weib Hebers, einen Zeltpflock und nahm den Hammer zur Hand, dann ging sie leise zu ihm hinein und schlug ihm den Pflock durch die Schläfe, sodass er in die Erde drang; Sisera war nämlich vor Ermattung fest eingeschlafen. So starb er.

Y Jael, mujer de Heber, tomó una estaca de la tienda, y poniendo un mazo en su mano, vino á él calladamente, y metióle la estaca por las sienes, y enclavólo en la tierra, pues él estaba cargado de sueño y cansado; y así murió.

Then Jael Heber’s wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.

Then Jael, Heber’s wife, took a tent peg, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him, and struck the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground, for he was in a deep sleep; so he fainted and died.

Da kam auch schon Barak dahergestürmt, dem Sisera nach, und Jael trat heraus, ihm entgegen, und sprach zu ihm: Komm, ich will dir den Mann zeigen, den du suchst. Und als er zu ihr hereinkam, siehe, da lag Sisera tot am Boden, mit dem Pflock in der Schläfe.

Y siguiendo Barac á Sísara, Jael salió á recibirlo, y díjole: Ven, y te mostraré al varón que tú buscas. Y él entró donde ella estaba, y he aquí Sísara yacía muerto con la estaca por la sien.

And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.

So demütigte Gott an jenem Tage Jabin, den König von Kanaan, vor den Israeliten.

Así abatió Dios aquel día á Jabín, rey de Canaán, delante de los hijos de Israel.
