Sansón fue a Gaza y vio a una prostituta allí, y él tuvo relaciones sexuales con ella.

And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him.

Haz esto, y cada uno de nosotros te daremos 1, 100 piezas de plata."

Y vinieron á ella los príncipes de los Filisteos, y dijéronle: Engáñale y sabe en qué consiste su grande fuerza, y cómo lo podríamos vencer, para que lo atemos y lo atormentemos; y cada uno de nosotros te dará mil y cien siclos de plata.

And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.

And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.

Now there were men lying in wait, abiding with her in the chamber. And she said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he brake the withs, as a thread of tow is broken when it toucheth the fire. So his strength was not known.

Now she had an ambush waiting in the inner room. She said to him, “The Philistines are on you, Samson!” He broke the cords as a flax thread is broken when it touches the fire. So his strength was not known.

Él le dijo a ella: "Si ellos me atan con cuerdas nuevas las cuales nunca se hayan usado para trabajar, yo me volveré débil y como cualquier otro hombre."

Y él le dijo: Si me ataren fuertemente con cuerdas nuevas, con las cuales ninguna cosa se haya hecho, yo me debilitaré, y seré como cualquiera de los hombres.

And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

He said to her, “If they only bind me with new ropes with which no work has been done, then I will become weak, and be as another man.”

Así que Dalila agarró cuerdas nuevas y lo ató con ellas, y le dijo: "¡Los filisteos están sobre ti, Sansón!" Los hombres acostados en espera, estaban en la habitación interior. Pero Sansón rompió las cuerdas de sus brazos como si fuesen un pedazo de hilo.

Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him therewith, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And there were liers in wait abiding in the chamber. And he brake them from off his arms like a thread.

So Delilah took new ropes and bound him with them, then said to him, “The Philistines are on you, Samson!” The ambush was waiting in the inner room. He broke them off his arms like a thread.

Dalila le dijo a Sansón: "Hasta ahora tú me has engañado y me has dicho mentiras. Dime cómo puedes ser dominado." Sansón le dijo a ella: "Si tú tejes siete mechones de mi cabello a una tela en un telar, y luego lo clavas al telar, yo seré como cualquier otro hombre."

Y Dalila dijo á Samsón: Hasta ahora me engañas, y tratas conmigo con mentiras. Descúbreme pues ahora cómo podrás ser atado. El entonces le dijo: Si tejieres siete guedejas de mi cabeza con la tela.

And Delilah said unto Samson, Hitherto thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith thou mightest be bound. And he said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the web.

And she fastened it with the pin, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web.

Y ella le dijo: ¿Cómo dices, Yo te amo, pues que tu corazón no está conmigo? Ya me has engañado tres veces, y no me has aún descubierto en qué está tu gran fuerza.

And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.

She said to him, “How can you say, ‘I love you,’ when your heart is not with me? You have mocked me these three times, and have not told me where your great strength lies.”

Cada día ella lo presionaba duramente con sus palabras, y lo presionaba tanto que él deseaba morir.

Y aconteció que, apretándole ella cada día con sus palabras é importunándole, su alma fué reducida á mortal angustia.

And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death;

Así que Sansón le contó todo y le dijo a ella: "Yo nunca he tenido una navaja que corte el cabello de mi cabeza, porque yo he sido un nazareno, dedicado a Dios desde el vientre de mi madre. Si mi cabeza es afeitada, entonces mis fuerzas me abandonarán, y me debilitaré y seré como cualquier otro hombre."

Descubrióle pues todo su corazón, y díjole: Nunca á mi cabeza llegó navaja; porque soy Nazareo de Dios desde el vientre de mi madre. Si fuere rapado, mi fuerza se apartará de mí, y seré debilitado, y como todos los hombres.

That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.

Y viendo Dalila que él le había descubierto todo su corazón, envió á llamar á los príncipes de los Filisteos, diciendo: Venid esta vez, porque él me ha descubierto todo su corazón. Y los príncipes de los Filisteos vinieron á ella, trayendo en su mano el dinero.

And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.

And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.

And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.

She said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” He awoke out of his sleep, and said, “I will go out as at other times, and shake myself free.” But he didn’t know that the LORD had departed from him.

Los filisteos lo capturaron y le sacaron los ojos. Lo bajaron hasta Gaza y lo ataron con grilletes de bronce. Él giraba la piedra de molino en la prisión.

Mas los Filisteos echaron mano de él, y sacáronle los ojos, y le llevaron á Gaza; y le ataron con cadenas, para que moliese en la cárcel.

Los gobernantes de los filisteos se reunieron para ofrecer un gran sacrificio a Dagón su dios, y para regocijarse. Ellos dijeron: "Nuestro dios ha conquistado a Sansón, nuestro enemigo, y lo ha puesto en nuestras manos."

Entonces los príncipes de los Filisteos se juntaron para ofrecer sacrificio á Dagón su dios, y para alegrarse; y dijeron: Nuestro dios entregó en nuestras manos á Samsón nuestro enemigo.

And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.

And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars.

And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.

and Samson said to the boy who held him by the hand, “Allow me to feel the pillars on which the house rests, that I may lean on them.”

Ahora, la casa estaba llena de hombres y mujeres. Todos los gobernantes de los filisteos estaban allí. Habían en el techo cerca de tres mil hombres y mujeres, quienes estaban mirando mientras Sansón estaba entreteniéndolos.

Sansón llamó al SEÑOR y dijo: "¡SEÑOR Dios, acuérdate de mí! Por favor, dame fuerzas sólo en esta ocasión, Dios, para que yo pueda vengarme de un sólo golpe de los filisteos por sacarme mis dos ojos."

Entonces clamó Samsón á Jehová, y dijo: Señor Jehová, acuérdate ahora de mí, y esfuérzame, te ruego, solamente esta vez, oh Dios, para que de una vez tome venganza de los Filisteos, por mis dos ojos.

And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

Sansón se agarró de los dos pilares del medio sobre los cuales el edificio descansaba, y él se inclinó sobre ellas, un pilar con la mano derecha, y el otro con su izquierda.

Y dijo Samsón: Muera yo con los Filisteos. Y estribando con esfuerzo, cayó la casa sobre los príncipes, y sobre todo el pueblo que estaba en ella. Y fueron muchos más los que de ellos mató muriendo, que los que había muerto en su vida.

And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.
