Luego de varios días, durante el tiempo de la cosecha del trigo, Sansón tomó un cabrito y fue a visitar su esposa. Él se dijo a sí mismo, "Yo voy al cuarto de mi esposa." Pero su padre no le permitía entrar.
Y ACONTECIÓ después de días, que en el tiempo de la siega del trigo, Samsón visitó á su mujer con un cabrito, diciendo: Entraré á mi mujer á la cámara. Mas el padre de ella no lo dejó entrar.
But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in.
But after a while, in the time of wheat harvest, Samson visited his wife with a young goat. He said, “I will go in to my wife’s room.” But her father wouldn’t allow him to go in.
El padre de ella dijo, "Yo realmente pensé que tú la odiabas, así que se la entregué a tu amigo. Su hermana menor es más bella que ella, ¿no lo es? Tómala a ella en su lugar."
Y dijo el padre de ella: Persuadíme que la aborrecías, y díla á tu compañero. Mas su hermana menor, ¿no es más hermosa que ella? tómala, pues, en su lugar.
And her father said, I verily thought that thou hadst utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to thy companion: is not her younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray thee, instead of her.
Her father said, “I most certainly thought that you utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion. Isn’t her younger sister more beautiful than she? Please, take her instead.”
Sansón le dijo a ellos, "En este momento yo seré inocente en cuanto a los filisteos cuando los lastime."
Y Samsón les respondió: Yo seré sin culpa esta vez para con los Filisteos, si mal les hiciere.
And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure.
Samson said to them, “This time I will be blameless in the case of the Philistines when I harm them.”
Sansón fue y capturó trescientos zorros y los amarró en pares, cola con cola. Después él cogió antorchas y las amarró en medio de cada par de colas.
Y fué Samsón y cogió trescientas zorras, y tomando teas, y trabando aquéllas por las colas, puso entre cada dos colas una tea.
And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails.

And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards and olives.

Los filisteos preguntaron, "¿Quién hizo esto?" A ellos les fue dicho, "Sansón, el yerno del timnateo, hizo esto porque el timnateo tomó la esposa de Sansón y se la dio a su amigo." Luego los filisteos fueron y la quemaron a ella y a su padre.
Y dijeron los Filisteos: ¿Quién hizo esto? Y fuéles dicho: Samsón, el yerno del Timnateo, porque le quitó su mujer y la dió á su compañero. Y vinieron los Filisteos, y quemaron á fuego á ella y á su padre.
Then the Philistines said, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.
Then the Philistines said, “Who has done this?” They said, “Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he has taken his wife and given her to his companion.” The Philistines came up, and burned her and her father with fire.
Sansón le dijo a ellos, "Si es esto lo que ustedes hicieron, yo tomaré mi venganza en contra de ustedes, y después que esto sea hecho, yo me detendré."
Entonces Samsón les dijo: ¿Así lo habíais de hacer? mas yo me vengaré de vosotros, y después cesaré.
And Samson said unto them, Though ye have done this, yet will I be avenged of you, and after that I will cease.
Samson said to them, “If you behave like this, surely I will take revenge on you, and after that I will cease.”
Luego él los cortó en pedazos, cadera y muslo, con gran violencia. Luego él bajó y vivió en una cueva en la colina de Etam.
E hiriólos pierna y muslo con gran mortandad; y descendió, y fijóse en la cueva de la peña de Etam.
And he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.
He struck them hip and thigh with a great slaughter; and he went down and lived in the cave in Etam’s rock.
Luego los filisteos subieron y se prepararon para la batalla en Judá y prepararon su ejército en Lehi.
Y los Filisteos subieron y pusieron campo en Judá, y tendiéronse por Lehi.
Then the Philistines went up, and pitched in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.

Los hombres de Judá dijeron, "¿Por qué han subido a atacarnos?" Ellos dijeron, "Nosotros estamos atacando para poder capturar a Sansón, y hacerle a él lo que él nos ha hecho a nosotros."
Y los varones de Judá les dijeron: ¿Por qué habéis subido contra nosotros? Y ellos respondieron: A prender á Samsón hemos subido, para hacerle como él nos ha hecho.
And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us.
The men of Judah said, “Why have you come up against us?” They said, “We have come up to bind Samson, to do to him as he has done to us.”
Luego tres mil hombres de Judá descendieron a la cueva en la colina de Etam, y ellos dijeron a Sansón, "¿Tú no sabes que los filisteos gobiernan sobre nosotros? ¿Qué es esto que nos has hecho a nosotros?" Sansón les dijo a ellos, "Ellos me lo hicieron a mi, y por eso yo se los he hecho a ellos."
Y vinieron tres mil hombres de Judá á la cueva de la peña de Etam, y dijeron á Samsón: ¿No sabes tú que los Filisteos dominan sobre nosotros? ¿por qué nos has hecho esto? Y él les respondió: Yo les he hecho como ellos me hicieron.
Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.
Then three thousand men of Judah went down to the cave in Etam’s rock, and said to Samson, “Don’t you know that the Philistines are rulers over us? What then is this that you have done to us?” He said to them, “As they did to me, so I have done to them.”
Ellos le dijeron a Sansón, "Nosotros hemos bajado a amarrarte y entregarte en manos de los filisteos." Sansón les dijo a ellos, "Prométanme a mí que no me matarán ustedes mismos."
Ellos entonces le dijeron: Nosotros hemos venido para prenderte, y entregarte en mano de los Filisteos. Y Samsón les respondió: Juradme que vosotros no me mataréis.
And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
They said to him, “We have come down to bind you, that we may deliver you into the hand of the Philistines.” Samson said to them, “Swear to me that you will not attack me yourselves.”
Ellos le dijeron a él, "No, nosotros sólo te amarraremos con cuerdas y te entregaremos en sus manos. Nosotros prometemos que no te mataremos." Luego ellos lo amarraron con dos sogas nuevas y lo subieron de la roca.
Y ellos le respondieron, diciendo: No, solamente te prenderemos, y te entregaremos en sus manos; mas no te mataremos. Entonces le ataron con dos cuerdas nuevas, é hiciéronle venir de la peña.
And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.
They spoke to him, saying, “No, but we will bind you securely and deliver you into their hands; but surely we will not kill you.” They bound him with two new ropes, and brought him up from the rock.
Cuando él vino a Lehi, los filisteos vinieron gritando mientras le encontraron. Luego el Espíritu del SEÑOR vino sobre él con poder. Las cuerdas en sus brazos se hicieron como tela quemada, y se cayeron de sus manos.
Y así que vino hasta Lehi, los Filisteos le salieron á recibir con algazara: y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y las cuerdas que estaban en sus brazos se tornaron como lino quemado con fuego, y las ataduras se cayeron de sus manos.
And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. Then the LORD’s Spirit came mightily on him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that was burned with fire; and his bands dropped from off his hands.
Sansón encontró una quijada fresca de burro, y él la tomó y mató a mil hombres con ella.
Y hallando una quijada de asno fresca, extendió la mano y tomóla, é hirió con ella á mil hombres.
And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.
He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, put out his hand, took it, and struck a thousand men with it.
Sansón dijo, "Con una quijada de burro, montones sobre montones, con una quijada de burro yo maté a mil hombres."
Entonces Samsón dijo: con la quijada de un asno, un montón, dos montones; con la quijada de un asno herí mil hombres.
And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.
Samson said, “With the jawbone of a donkey, heaps on heaps; with the jawbone of a donkey I have struck a thousand men.”
Cuando Sansón terminó de hablar, tiró la quijada y llamó el lugar Ramat Lehi.
Y acabando de hablar, echó de su mano la quijada, y llamó á aquel lugar Ramath-lehi.
And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramath-lehi.
When he had finished speaking, he threw the jawbone out of his hand; and that place was called Ramath Lehi.
Sansón tenía mucha sed y llamó al SEÑOR y dijo, "Tú has dado esta gran victoria a tu siervo. ¿Pero ahora yo voy a morir de sed y caer en las manos de esos incircuncisos?"
Y teniendo gran sed, clamó luego á Jehová, y dijo: Tú has dado esta gran salud por mano de tu siervo: ¿y moriré yo ahora de sed, y caeré en mano de los incircuncisos?
And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?
He was very thirsty, and called on the LORD and said, “You have given this great deliverance by the hand of your servant; and now shall I die of thirst, and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”
Y Dios abrió el lugar hueco que está en Lehi, y el agua salió de allí. Cuando él bebió, su fuerza volvió y se reanimó. Entonces él llamó el nombre de ese lugar En Hacore, y está en Lehi hasta este día.
Entonces quebró Dios una muela que estaba en la quijada, y salieron de allí aguas, y bebió, y recobró su espíritu, y reanimóse. Por tanto llamó su nombre de aquel lugar, En-haccore, el cual es en Lehi, hasta hoy.
But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof En-hakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.
But God split the hollow place that is in Lehi, and water came out of it. When he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived. Therefore its name was called En Hakkore, which is in Lehi, to this day.
Sansón juzgó a Israel en los días de los filisteos por veinte años.
Y juzgó á Israel en días de los Filisteos veinte años.
And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.
