EINST ging Simson nach Thimnath hinab, und er sah in Thimnath eine von den Töchtern der Philister.

Y DESCENDIENDO Samsón á Timnah, vió en Timnah una mujer de las hijas de los Filisteos.

And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines.

Als er wieder heraufkam, sagte er es seinem Vater und seiner Mutter und sprach: Ich habe in Thimnath eine von den Töchtern der Philister gesehen; nun freit für mich um sie.

Y subió, y declarólo á su padre y á su madre, diciendo: Yo he visto en Timnah una mujer de las hijas de los Filisteos: ruégoos que me la toméis por mujer.

And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.

He came up, and told his father and his mother, saying, “I have seen a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Philistines. Now therefore get her for me as my wife.”

Aber sein Vater und seine Mutter sprachen zu ihm: Gibt es denn unter den Töchtern deiner Stammesgenossen und in deinem ganzen Volke kein Weib, dass du hingehst, um bei den Philistern, den Unbeschnittenen, ein Weib zu holen? Simson antwortete seinem Vater: Um diese musst du für mich freien; denn sie allein gefällt mir. (a) 5Mo 7:3

Y su padre y su madre le dijeron: ¿No hay mujer entre las hijas de tus hermanos, ni en todo mi pueblo, para que vayas tú á tomar mujer de los Filisteos incircuncisos? Y Samsón respondió á su padre: Tómamela por mujer, porque ésta agradó á mis ojos.

Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.

Then his father and his mother said to him, “Isn’t there a woman among your brothers’ daughters, or among all my people, that you go to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines?” Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, for she pleases me well.”

Sein Vater und seine Mutter wussten eben nicht, dass das von dem Herrn so gefügt war, weil er gegenüber den Philistern einen Anlass schaffen wollte. Zu jener Zeit nämlich herrschten die Philister über Israel.

Mas su padre y su madre no sabían que esto venía de Jehová, y que él buscaba ocasión contra los Filisteos: porque en aquel tiempo los Filisteos dominaban sobre Israel.

But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

Und Simson ging mit seinem Vater und seiner Mutter nach Thimnath hinab. Als er nun zu den Weinbergen von Thimnath kam, siehe, da trat ihm ein junger Löwe brüllend entgegen.

Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.

Da kam der Geist des Herrn über ihn, und er zerriss den Löwen, wie man ein Böcklein zerreisst, und er hatte doch gar nichts in der Hand. Seinem Vater und seiner Mutter aber sagte er nicht, was er getan hatte.

Y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y despedazólo como quien despedaza un cabrito, sin tener nada en su mano: y no dió á entender á su padre ni á su madre lo que había hecho.

And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.

The LORD’s Spirit came mightily on him, and he tore him as he would have torn a young goat with his bare hands, but he didn’t tell his father or his mother what he had done.

Dann ging er hinab und redete mit dem Weibe; und sie gefiel Simson.

And he went down, and talked with the woman; and she pleased Samson well.

Als er nach einiger Zeit wieder hinging, um sie zu heiraten, bog er vom Wege ab, nach dem Aas des Löwen zu sehen; siehe, da war in dem Leib des Löwen ein Bienenschwarm und Honigwaben,

Y volviendo después de algunos días para tomarla, apartóse para ver el cuerpo muerto del león, y he aquí en el cuerpo del león un enjambre de abejas, y un panal de miel.

And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.

After a while he returned to take her, and he went over to see the carcass of the lion; and behold, there was a swarm of bees in the body of the lion, and honey.

die löste er heraus und nahm sie in die Hände und ass im Weitergehen. Und er ging zu seinem Vater und seiner Mutter und gab ihnen davon, und sie assen auch. Er sagte ihnen aber nicht, dass er den Honig aus dem Aas des Löwen herausgelöst hatte.

Y tomándolo en sus manos, fuése comiéndolo por el camino: y llegado que hubo á su padre y á su madre, dióles también á ellos que comiesen; mas no les descubrió que había tomado aquella miel del cuerpo del león.

And he took thereof in his hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them, and they did eat: but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the carcase of the lion.

He took it into his hands, and went on, eating as he went. He came to his father and mother and gave to them, and they ate, but he didn’t tell them that he had taken the honey out of the lion’s body.

Und als Simson zu dem Weibe herabkam, veranstaltete er dort ein Festmahl; denn so pflegten die jungen Männer es zu halten.

Vino pues su padre á la mujer, y Samsón hizo allí banquete; porque así solían hacer los mancebos.

So his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.

Da man ihn aber fürchtete, bestellte man dreissig Gefährten, die dann um ihn waren.

Y como ellos le vieron, tomaron treinta compañeros que estuviesen con él;

And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.

Und Simson sprach zu ihnen: Ich will euch ein Rätsel aufgeben; wenn ihr mir innerhalb der sieben Tage des Festes die Lösung sagt, so will ich euch dreissig Hemden und dreissig Feierkleider geben.

A los cuales Samsón dijo: Yo os propondré ahora un enigma, el cual si en los siete días del banquete vosotros me declarareis y descubriereis, yo os daré treinta sábanas y treinta mudas de vestidos.

And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments:

Samson said to them, “Let me tell you a riddle now. If you can tell me the answer within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing;

Könnt ihr es aber nicht lösen, so sollt ihr mir dreissig Hemden und dreissig Feierkleider geben. Sie sprachen zu ihm: Gib dein Rätsel auf, dass wir es hören!

Mas si no me lo supiereis declarar, vosotros me daréis las treinta sábanas y las treinta mudas de vestidos. Y ellos respondieron: Propónnos tu enigma, y lo oiremos.

But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.

but if you can’t tell me the answer, then you shall give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing.” They said to him, “Tell us your riddle, that we may hear it.”

Da sprach er zu ihnen: Speise ging aus von dem Fresser, / und Süsses ging aus von dem Starken. Doch sie vermochten das Rätsel drei Tage lang nicht zu lösen.

Entonces les dijo: Del comedor salió comida, y del fuerte salió dulzura. Y ellos no pudieron declararle el enigma en tres días.

And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle.

He said to them, “Out of the eater came out food. Out of the strong came out sweetness.” They couldn’t in three days declare the riddle.

Am vierten Tage nun sprachen sie zu dem Weibe Simsons: Berede deinen Mann, dass er uns das Rätsel verrät; sonst verbrennen wir dich samt deiner ganzen Familie. Habt ihr uns hierher geladen, um uns arm zu machen?

Y al séptimo día dijeron á la mujer de Samsón: Induce á tu marido á que nos declare este enigma, porque no te quememos á ti y á la casa de tu padre. ¿Habéisnos llamado aquí para poseernos?

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?

On the seventh day, they said to Samson’s wife, “Entice your husband, that he may declare to us the riddle, lest we burn you and your father’s house with fire. Have you called us to impoverish us? Isn’t that so?”

Da weinte das Weib an Simsons Hals und sprach: Du bist mir nur gram und hast mich nicht lieb. Du hast meinen Volksgenossen das Rätsel aufgegeben und hast es mir nicht verraten. Er antwortete ihr: Sieh, meinem Vater und meiner Mutter habe ich es nicht verraten - und sollte es dir verraten?

Y lloró la mujer de Samsón delante de él, y dijo: Solamente me aborreces y no me amas, pues que no me declaras el enigma que propusiste á los hijos de mi pueblo. Y él respondió: He aquí que ni á mi padre ni á mi madre lo he declarado; y ¿habíalo de declarar á ti?

And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?

Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, “You just hate me, and don’t love me. You’ve told a riddle to the children of my people, and haven’t told it to me.” He said to her, “Behold, I haven’t told my father or my mother, so why should I tell you?”

Sie aber weinte an seinem Halse die sieben Tage, solange sie das Fest hielten; am siebenten Tage endlich verriet er es ihr, weil sie ihn so drängte, und sie verriet das Rätsel ihren Volksgenossen.

Y ella lloró delante de él los siete días que ellos tuvieron banquete: mas al séptimo día él se lo declaró, porque le constriñó; y ella lo declaró á los hijos de su pueblo.

And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the children of her people.

Da sprachen die Männer der Stadt am siebenten Tage zu ihm, bevor er in die Kammer hineinging: Was ist süsser als Honig? / Und was ist stärker als der Löwe? Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Hättet ihr nicht mit meinem Rinde gepflügt, / ihr hättet mein Rätsel nicht erraten.

Y al séptimo día, antes que el sol se pusiese, los de la ciudad le dijeron: ¿Qué cosa más dulce que la miel? ¿y qué cosa más fuerte que el león?

And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.

The men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down, “What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?” He said to them, “If you hadn’t plowed with my heifer, you wouldn’t have found out my riddle.”

Dann kam der Geist des Herrn über ihn, und er ging hinab nach Askalon und erschlug dort dreissig Mann. Diesen nahm er ihre Gewänder ab und gab denen, die das Rätsel gelöst hatten, die Feierkleider. Und es entbrannte sein Zorn, und er ging hinauf in seines Vaters Haus.

Y él les respondió: Si no araseis con mi novilla, nunca hubierais descubierto mi enigma.

And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.

The LORD’s Spirit came mightily on him, and he went down to Ashkelon and struck thirty men of them. He took their plunder, then gave the changes of clothing to those who declared the riddle. His anger burned, and he went up to his father’s house.

Simsons Weib aber ward seinem Gefährten gegeben, der sein Brautführer gewesen war.

Y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y descendió á Ascalón, é hirió treinta hombres de ellos; y tomando sus despojos, dió las mudas de vestidos á los que habían explicado el enigma: y encendido en enojo fuése á casa de su padre. Y la mujer de Samsón fué dada á su compañero, con el cual él antes se acompañaba.
