Y subió, y declarólo á su padre y á su madre, diciendo: Yo he visto en Timnah una mujer de las hijas de los Filisteos: ruégoos que me la toméis por mujer.
And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.

Dissero a lui suo padre, e sua madre: Mancano forse donne nelle case de' tuoi fratelli, e in tutto il nostro popolo, che tu vuoi prendere per moglie una figlia de' Filistei che sono incirconcisi? Ma Sansone disse a suo padre: Dammi questa che piace agli occhi miei.
Y su padre y su madre le dijeron: ¿No hay mujer entre las hijas de tus hermanos, ni en todo mi pueblo, para que vayas tú á tomar mujer de los Filisteos incircuncisos? Y Samsón respondió á su padre: Tómamela por mujer, porque ésta agradó á mis ojos.
Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.
Then his father and his mother said to him, “Isn’t there a woman among your brothers’ daughters, or among all my people, that you go to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines?” Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, for she pleases me well.”
Or i suoi genitori non sapevano che questa cosa era fatta dal Signore, e che quegli cercava un'occasione di far del male a' Filistei: perocché in quel tempo i Filistei dominavano Israele.
Mas su padre y su madre no sabían que esto venía de Jehová, y que él buscaba ocasión contra los Filisteos: porque en aquel tiempo los Filisteos dominaban sobre Israel.
But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

Scese adunque Sansone con suo padre, e sua madre a Thamnatha. E quando furono arrivati alle vigne della città, se gli fece davanti un giovine lione feroce che ruggiva, e andò incontro a lui.

Ma lo spirito del Signore investì Sansone, ed egli sbranò il lione, e lo fece in pezzi, come un capretto, senza avere niente in mano: e non volle dar parte di tal cosa al padre, nè alla madre.
Y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y despedazólo como quien despedaza un cabrito, sin tener nada en su mano: y no dió á entender á su padre ni á su madre lo que había hecho.
And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.

E di lì a qualche giorno ritornando per isposarla, uscì di strada per vedere il cadavere del leone, e vide che in bocca al lione v'era uno sciame d'api, e un favo di miele.
Y volviendo después de algunos días para tomarla, apartóse para ver el cuerpo muerto del león, y he aquí en el cuerpo del león un enjambre de abejas, y un panal de miel.
And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.

E preso in mano il miele, lo mangiava per istrada, e avendo raggiunto il padre e la madre, ne fece loro parte, ed essi pure ne mangiarono: ma nè pure volle loro scoprire, come quel miele lo avea preso dal cadavere del leone.
Y tomándolo en sus manos, fuése comiéndolo por el camino: y llegado que hubo á su padre y á su madre, dióles también á ellos que comiesen; mas no les descubrió que había tomado aquella miel del cuerpo del león.
And he took thereof in his hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them, and they did eat: but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the carcase of the lion.
He took it into his hands, and went on, eating as he went. He came to his father and mother and gave to them, and they ate, but he didn’t tell them that he had taken the honey out of the lion’s body.
Andò adunque il padre a trovare la donna; e fece un banchetto pel suo figliuolo Sansone: perocché tal era il costume de' giovani.

A' quali disse Sansone: io vi proporrò un problema: il quale se voi sciorrete dentro i sette dì del banchetto, io vi darò trenta sindoni, e altrettante tonache:
A los cuales Samsón dijo: Yo os propondré ahora un enigma, el cual si en los siete días del banquete vosotros me declarareis y descubriereis, yo os daré treinta sábanas y treinta mudas de vestidos.
And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments:
Samson said to them, “Let me tell you a riddle now. If you can tell me the answer within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing;
Se poi nol saprete sciorre, voi darete a me trenta sindoni e altrettante tonache. Risposer quelli: Proponi l'enimma, affinchè lo sentiamo.
Mas si no me lo supiereis declarar, vosotros me daréis las treinta sábanas y las treinta mudas de vestidos. Y ellos respondieron: Propónnos tu enigma, y lo oiremos.
But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.
but if you can’t tell me the answer, then you shall give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing.” They said to him, “Tell us your riddle, that we may hear it.”
Ed ei disse loro: Dal divoratore è venuto il cibo, e dal forte è venuto il dolce. Ed essi non poterono sciorlo in tre dì.
Entonces les dijo: Del comedor salió comida, y del fuerte salió dulzura. Y ellos no pudieron declararle el enigma en tres días.
And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle.
He said to them, “Out of the eater came out food. Out of the strong came out sweetness.” They couldn’t in three days declare the riddle.
Ma quando fu venuto il settimo giorno, dissero a sua moglie: induci colle carezze il tuo sposo a dirti il significato dell'enimma: che se tu nol fai, darem fuoco a te, e alla casa del padre tuo: ci avete voi forse invitati alle nozze col fine di spogliarci?
Y al séptimo día dijeron á la mujer de Samsón: Induce á tu marido á que nos declare este enigma, porque no te quememos á ti y á la casa de tu padre. ¿Habéisnos llamado aquí para poseernos?
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?
On the seventh day, they said to Samson’s wife, “Entice your husband, that he may declare to us the riddle, lest we burn you and your father’s house with fire. Have you called us to impoverish us? Isn’t that so?”
Ed ella stava piangendo attorno a Sansone, e si lamentava dicendo: Tu mi hai in avversione, e non mi vuoi bene: e per questo non vuoi spiegarmi l'enimma proposto da te ai giovani miei concittadini. Ma egli rispose: Non ho voluto dirlo a mio padre, e a mia madre, e potrò dirlo a te?
Y lloró la mujer de Samsón delante de él, y dijo: Solamente me aborreces y no me amas, pues que no me declaras el enigma que propusiste á los hijos de mi pueblo. Y él respondió: He aquí que ni á mi padre ni á mi madre lo he declarado; y ¿habíalo de declarar á ti?
And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?
Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, “You just hate me, and don’t love me. You’ve told a riddle to the children of my people, and haven’t told it to me.” He said to her, “Behold, I haven’t told my father or my mother, so why should I tell you?”
Ella adunque pe' sette dì del convito piagnucolava attorno a lui: ma finalmente il settimo giorno non lasciandolo ella ben avere, le diede la spiegazione. Ed ella subito la fe' sapere a' suoi concittadini.
Y ella lloró delante de él los siete días que ellos tuvieron banquete: mas al séptimo día él se lo declaró, porque le constriñó; y ella lo declaró á los hijos de su pueblo.
And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the children of her people.

E quelli prima che tramontasse il sole, il settimo giorno dissero a lui: Qual cosa è più dolce del miele? che v'ha egli più forte del lione? Ed egli disse loro: Se non aveste arato colla mia giovenca, non avreste dicifrata la mia proposta.
Y al séptimo día, antes que el sol se pusiese, los de la ciudad le dijeron: ¿Qué cosa más dulce que la miel? ¿y qué cosa más fuerte que el león?
And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.
The men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down, “What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?” He said to them, “If you hadn’t plowed with my heifer, you wouldn’t have found out my riddle.”
Indi lo spirito del Signore lo investì, e andò ad Ascalone, e ivi uccise trenta uomini: a' quali levò le vesti, e le diede a quelli che aveano sciolto l'enimma. E pieno di grande sdegno andò a casa di suo padre:
Y él les respondió: Si no araseis con mi novilla, nunca hubierais descubierto mi enigma.
And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.
The LORD’s Spirit came mightily on him, and he went down to Ashkelon and struck thirty men of them. He took their plunder, then gave the changes of clothing to those who declared the riddle. His anger burned, and he went up to his father’s house.
E la sua moglie prese per marito uno degli amici di lui, e compagni di nozze. Per mezzo di trecento volpi, e altrettante fiaccole Sansone dà fuoco alle biade de’ Filistei. Strappate le funi, colle quali era legato, uccide mille Filistei con una mascella d'asino, e dal dente molare di essa scaturisce acqua a dissetarlo.
Y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y descendió á Ascalón, é hirió treinta hombres de ellos; y tomando sus despojos, dió las mudas de vestidos á los que habían explicado el enigma: y encendido en enojo fuése á casa de su padre. Y la mujer de Samsón fué dada á su compañero, con el cual él antes se acompañaba.
