Il quale ebbe trenta figli, e altrettante figliuole, le quali maritò mandandole fuori della sua gente, e altrettante fanciulle di fuori condusse in sua casa spose de' suoi figliuoli. Ei fu giudice d'Israele per sette anni:

El cual tuvo treinta hijos y treinta hijas, las cuales casó fuera, y tomó de fuera treinta hijas para sus hijos: y juzgó á Israel siete años.

And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.

He had thirty sons. He sent his thirty daughters outside his clan, and he brought in thirty daughters from outside his clan for his sons. He judged Israel seven years.
