4Dann bot Jephte alle Männer Gileads auf und stritt mit Ephraim. Da schlugen Gileads Männer Ephraim. Denn dieses pflegte zu sagen: "Ihr seid Flüchtlinge aus Ephraim." Gilead liegt ja zwischen Ephraim und Manasse.
