26Voilà trois cents ans qu`Israël habite à Hésebon et dans les villes de sa dépendance, à Aroër et dans les villes de sa dépendance, ainsi que dans toutes les villes qui sont sur les bords de l`Arnon ; pourquoi ne les lui avez- vous pas enlevées pendant ce temps-là?

26While Israel dwelt in Heshbon and her towns, and in Aroer and her towns, and in all the cities that be along by the coasts of Arnon, three hundred years? why therefore did ye not recover them within that time?
