2Et la femme de Galaad lui enfanta des fils ; et les fils de sa femme grandirent, et chassèrent Jephthé, et lui dirent : Tu n’auras point d’héritage dans la maison de notre père ; car toi, tu es fils d’une autre femme.

2And Gilead’s wife bare him sons; and his wife’s sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father’s house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.

2Gilead’s wife bore him sons. When his wife’s sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out and said to him, “You will not inherit in our father’s house, for you are the son of another woman.”
