Isaías 9

Imperocché l'empietà si è accesa qual fuoco, che divora gli sterpi, e le spine, e prende rigoglio nel più folto della boscaglia, e si alza in globi un fumo superbo.

Porque la maldad se encendió como fuego, cardos y espinas devorará; y encenderáse en lo espeso de la breña, y serán alzados como humo.

For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.
