Isaías 9

Perciocchè l’empietà arderà come un fuoco, divorerà le vepri ed i pruni, e si accenderà negli alberi più folti del bosco, e quelli se ne andranno a viluppi, come si alza il fumo.

Porque la maldad se encendió como fuego, cardos y espinas devorará; y encenderáse en lo espeso de la breña, y serán alzados como humo.

For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.

For wickedness burns like a fire. It devours the briers and thorns; yes, it kindles in the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke.
