Esto es lo que el SEÑOR dice: "El cielo es Mi trono, y la tierra es Mi banquillo para pies. ¿Dónde está, entonces, la casa que ustedes construirán para Mí? ¿Dónde está el lugar donde Yo pueda descansar?
JEHOVÁ dijo así: El cielo es mi solio, y la tierra estrado de mis pies: ¿dónde está la casa que me habréis de edificar, y dónde este lugar de mi reposo?
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
The LORD says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build to me? Where will I rest?
Mi mano ha hecho todas estas cosas; así es cómo estas cosas llegaron a ser, esta es la declaración del SEÑOR. Este es el hombre a quien Yo apruebo, el quebrantado y contrito de espíritu, y que tiembla ante Mi palabra.
Mi mano hizo todas estas cosas, y así todas estas cosas fueron, dice Jehová: mas á aquél miraré que es pobre y humilde de espíritu, y que tiembla á mi palabra.
For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
For my hand has made all these things, and so all these things came to be,” says the LORD: “but I will look to this man, even to he who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.
El que masacra un buey también asesina un hombre; el que sacrifica un cordero también quiebra el cuello de un perro; el que ofrece una ofrenda de grano ofrece sangre de cerdo; el que ofrece un memorial de incienso también honra la maldad. Ellos han escogido sus propios caminos, y ellos se placen en sus abominaciones.
El que sacrifica buey, como si matase un hombre; el que sacrifica oveja, como si degollase un perro; el que ofrece presente, como si ofreciese sangre de puerco; el que ofrece perfume, como si bendijese á un ídolo. Y pues escogieron sus caminos, y su alma amó sus abominaciones,
He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
He who kills an ox is as he who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, as he who breaks a dog’s neck; he who offers an offering, as he who offers pig’s blood; he who burns frankincense, as he who blesses an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
De la misma manera Yo escogeré su propio castigo; Yo traeré sobre ellos lo que ellos temen, porque cuando Yo llamé, nadie respondió; cuando Yo hablé, nadie escuchó. Ellos hicieron lo que era malo a Mi vista, y escogieron hacer lo que Me desagrada."
También yo escogeré sus escarnios, y traeré sobre ellos lo que temieron; porque llamé, y nadie respondió; hablé, y no oyeron; antes hicieron lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogieron lo que á mí desagrada.
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Oigan la palabra del SEÑOR, ustedes que tiemblan ante Su palabra: "Sus hermanos que los odian y los excluyen por amor a Mi nombre han dicho: 'Sea el SEÑOR glorificado, entonces veremos su gozo,' pero ellos serán puestos en vergüenza.
Oid palabra de Jehová, vosotros los que tembláis á su palabra: Vuestros hermanos los que os aborrecen, y os niegan por causa de mi nombre, dijeron: Glorifíquese Jehová. Mas él se mostrará con alegría vuestra, y ellos serán confundidos.
Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
Hear the LORD’s word, you who tremble at his word: “Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for my name’s sake, have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy;’ but it is those who shall be disappointed.
Un sonido de tumulto de batalla viene de la ciudad, un sonido desde el templo, el sonido del SEÑOR vengando Sus enemigos.
Voz de alboroto de la ciudad, voz del templo, voz de Jehová que da el pago á sus enemigos.
A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that repays his enemies what they deserve.
Antes de ponerse de parto, ella da a luz; antes de que el dolor le alcance, ella dio a luz un hijo.
Antes que estuviese de parto, parió; antes que le viniesen dolores parió hijo.
Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
“Before she travailed, she gave birth. Before her pain came, she delivered a son.
¿Quién ha escuchado tal cosa? ¿Quién ha visto tales cosas? ¿Nacerá una tierra en un día? ¿Puede una nación ser establecida en un momento? Sin embargo, tan pronto Sion se pone de parto, ella da a luz sus hijos.
¿Quién oyó cosa semejante? ¿quién vió cosa tal? ¿parirá la tierra en un día? ¿nacerá una nación de una vez? Pues en cuanto Sión estuvo de parto, parió sus hijos.
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she gave birth to her children.
¿Traigo Yo un bebé a la apertura de nacimiento y no permito que nazca el niño? pregunta el SEÑOR. ¿O traigo un niño al momento de alumbramiento y entonces lo detengo? pregunta tu Dios.
¿Yo que hago parir, no pariré? dijo Jehová. ¿Yo que hago engendrar, seré detenido? dice el Dios tuyo.
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to be delivered?” says the LORD. “Shall I who cause to give birth shut the womb?” says your God.
¡Regocíjense con Jerusalén y estén alegres por ella, todos ustedes que la aman; regocíjense con ella, todos ustedes que lamentaron sobre ella!
Alegraos con Jerusalem, y gozaos con ella, todos los que la amáis: llenaos con ella de gozo, todos los que os enlutáis por ella:
Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
“Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all you who love her. Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn over her;
Porque ustedes lactarán y serán satisfechos; con sus senos ustedes serán consolados; pues ustedes beberán de ellos hasta la saciedad y se deleitarán con la abundancia de su gloria.
Para que maméis y os saciéis de los pechos de sus consolaciones; para que ordeñéis, y os deleitéis con el resplandor de su gloria.
That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
that you may nurse and be satisfied at the comforting breasts; that you may drink deeply, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.”
Esto es lo que el SEÑOR dice: "Yo estoy a punto de propagar la prosperidad sobre ella como un río, y las riquezas de las naciones como un arroyo desbordado. Ustedes lactarán al lado de ella, serán llevados en sus brazos, y saltarán sobre sus rodillas.
Porque así dice Jehová: He aquí que yo extiendo sobre ella paz como un río, y la gloria de las gentes como un arroyo que sale de madre; y mamaréis, y sobre el lado seréis traídos, y sobre las rodillas seréis regalados.
For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
For the LORD says, “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream, and you will nurse. You will be carried on her side, and will be dandled on her knees.
Así como una madre consuela a su hijo, así Yo los consolaré, y ustedes serán consolados en Jerusalén.
Como aquel á quien consuela su madre, así os consolaré yo á vosotros, y en Jerusalem tomaréis consuelo.
As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. You will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
Ustedes verán esto, y su corazón se regocijará, y sus huesos brotarán como hierba tierna. La mano del SEÑOR se dará a conocer a Sus siervos, pero Él mostrará Su enojo contra Sus enemigos.
Y veréis, y alegraráse vuestro corazón, y vuestros huesos reverdecerán como la hierba: y la mano de Jehová para con sus siervos será conocida, y se airará contra sus enemigos.
And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
You will see it, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones will flourish like the tender grass. The LORD’s hand will be known among his servants; and he will have indignation against his enemies.
Pues mirad, el SEÑOR viene con fuego, y Sus carruajes vienen como la tormenta de viento para traer el calor de Su enojo y Su reprensión con llamas de fuego.
Porque he aquí que Jehová vendrá con fuego, y sus carros como torbellino, para tornar su ira en furor, y su reprensión en llama de fuego.
For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and his chariots will be like the whirlwind; to give his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Porque el SEÑOR ejecuta el juicio sobre la humanidad con fuego y con Su espada. Aquellos asesinados por el SEÑOR serán muchos.
Porque Jehová juzgará con fuego y con su espada á toda carne: y los muertos de Jehová serán multiplicados.
For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
For the LORD will execute judgment by fire and by his sword on all flesh; and those slain by the LORD will be many.
Ellos se consagran a sí mismos y se hacen a sí mismos puros, tal que ellos puedan entrar a los jardines, siguiendo a quien está en medio de aquellos que comen la carne de cerdo y cosas abominables como ratones." Ellos vendrán a un final, esta es la declaración del SEÑOR.
Los que se santifican y los que se purifican en los huertos, unos tras otros, los que comen carne de puerco, y abominación, y ratón; juntamente serán talados, dice Jehová.
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
“Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go to the gardens, following one in the middle, eating pig’s meat, abominable things, and the mouse, they shall come to an end together,” says the LORD.
Pues Yo conozco sus hechos y sus pensamientos. El tiempo viene cuando Yo reuniré a todas las naciones y lenguas. Ellas vendrán y verán Mi gloria.
Porque yo entiendo sus obras y sus pensamientos: tiempo vendrá para juntar todas las gentes y lenguas; y vendrán, y verán mi gloria.
For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
“For I know their works and their thoughts. The time comes that I will gather all nations and languages, and they will come, and will see my glory.
Yo pondré una poderosa señal entre ellas. Entonces Yo enviaré sobrevivientes de ellos a las naciones: a Tarsis, Fut, y Lud, arqueros quienes tensan sus arcos, a Tubal, Javán, y a las tierras costeras distantes donde ellos no han escuchado de Mí ni han visto Mi gloria. Ellos proclamarán Mi gloria entre las naciones.
Y pondré entre ellos señal, y enviaré de los escapados de ellos á las gentes, á Tarsis, á Pul y Lud, que disparan arco, á Tubal y á Javán, á las islas apartadas que no oyeron de mí, ni vieron mi gloria; y publicarán mi gloria entre las gentes.
And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
“I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to far-away islands, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.
Ellos traerán de vuelta a todos sus hermanos de entre todas las naciones, como ofrenda al SEÑOR. Ellos vendrán a caballo, y en carruajes, en carretas, en mulas, y en camellos, a Mi monte santo Jerusalén, dice el SEÑOR. Pues el pueblo de Israel traerá una ofrenda de grano en una vasija limpia a la casa del SEÑOR.
Y traerán á todos vuestros hermanos de entre todas las naciones, por presente á Jehová, en caballos, en carros, en literas, y en mulos, y en camellos, á mi santo monte de Jerusalem, dice Jehová, al modo que los hijos de Israel traen el presente en vasos limpios á la casa de Jehová.
And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
They shall bring all your brothers out of all the nations for an offering to the LORD, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the LORD’s house.
A algunos de éstos, incluso los escogeré como sacerdotes y levitas, dice el SEÑOR.
Y tomaré también de ellos para sacerdotes y Levitas, dice Jehová.
And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
Of them I will also select priests and Levites,” says the LORD.
Porque de la misma manera en que los cielos nuevos y la tierra nueva que Yo haré permanecerán delante de Mí, esta es la declaración del SEÑOR, así permanecerán sus descendientes, y su nombre permanecerá.
Porque como los cielos nuevos y la nueva tierra, que yo hago, permanecen delante de mí, dice Jehová, así permanecerá vuestra simiente y vuestro nombre.
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me,” says the LORD, “so your offspring and your name shall remain.
De un mes al próximo, y de un día de reposo al próximo, toda gente vendrá a inclinarse ante Mí, dice el SEÑOR.
Y será que de mes en mes, y de sábado en sábado, vendrá toda carne á adorar delante de mí, dijo Jehová.
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
It shall happen that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before me,” says the LORD.
Ellos saldrán y verán los cuerpos muertos de los hombres que se han rebelado contra Mí, porque los gusanos que los comen no morirán, y el fuego que los consume no será apagado, y será una abominación a toda carne."
Y saldrán, y verán los cadáveres de los hombres que se rebelaron contra mí: porque su gusano nunca morirá, ni su fuego se apagará; y serán abominables á toda carne.
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
“They will go out, and look at the dead bodies of the men who have transgressed against me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
