Así dice Yahvé: “El cielo es mi trono, y la tierra el escabel de mis pies. ¿Qué casa podríais construir para Mí? ¿y qué lugar para mi descanso?
JEHOVÁ dijo así: El cielo es mi solio, y la tierra estrado de mis pies: ¿dónde está la casa que me habréis de edificar, y dónde este lugar de mi reposo?
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
The LORD says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build to me? Where will I rest?
Todas estas cosas las hizo mi mano, y así existen todas —oráculo de Yahvé—. He aquí en quien Yo pongo mis ojos: en el que es humilde y contrito de espíritu, y que teme mi palabra.
Mi mano hizo todas estas cosas, y así todas estas cosas fueron, dice Jehová: mas á aquél miraré que es pobre y humilde de espíritu, y que tiembla á mi palabra.
For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
For my hand has made all these things, and so all these things came to be,” says the LORD: “but I will look to this man, even to he who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.
Hay quien degüella un toro, y (a la vez) mata a un hombre; quien sacrifica una oveja y (a la vez) descabeza a un perro; quien hace una ofrenda, y ofrece sangre de cerdo; quien quema incienso y bendice a un ídolo. Así se han escogido sus propios caminos, y su alma se deleita en sus abominaciones.
El que sacrifica buey, como si matase un hombre; el que sacrifica oveja, como si degollase un perro; el que ofrece presente, como si ofreciese sangre de puerco; el que ofrece perfume, como si bendijese á un ídolo. Y pues escogieron sus caminos, y su alma amó sus abominaciones,
He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
He who kills an ox is as he who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, as he who breaks a dog’s neck; he who offers an offering, as he who offers pig’s blood; he who burns frankincense, as he who blesses an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
Por eso también Yo escogeré para ellos los males, y haré que les sobrevengan las cosas que temen; ya que llamé y no hubo quien respondiese; hablé y no escucharon; sino que hicieron lo que era malo a mis ojos, y escogieron lo que Yo reprobaba.”
También yo escogeré sus escarnios, y traeré sobre ellos lo que temieron; porque llamé, y nadie respondió; hablé, y no oyeron; antes hicieron lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogieron lo que á mí desagrada.
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Oíd la voz de Yahvé, los que teméis su palabra. Vuestros hermanos que os odian, y os desechan por causa de mi nombre, dicen: “Que Yahvé muestre su gloria, para que podamos ver vuestra alegría”; pero quedarán avergonzados.
Oid palabra de Jehová, vosotros los que tembláis á su palabra: Vuestros hermanos los que os aborrecen, y os niegan por causa de mi nombre, dijeron: Glorifíquese Jehová. Mas él se mostrará con alegría vuestra, y ellos serán confundidos.
Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
Hear the LORD’s word, you who tremble at his word: “Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for my name’s sake, have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy;’ but it is those who shall be disappointed.
¡Voz de alboroto que procede de la ciudad, voz que procede del Templo! ¡(Es la) voz de Yahvé que da el pago a sus enemigos!
Voz de alboroto de la ciudad, voz del templo, voz de Jehová que da el pago á sus enemigos.
A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that repays his enemies what they deserve.
Antes de estar de parto ella ha dado a luz; antes que le sobreviniesen los dolores ha dado a luz un hijo varón.
Antes que estuviese de parto, parió; antes que le viniesen dolores parió hijo.
Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
“Before she travailed, she gave birth. Before her pain came, she delivered a son.
¿Quién oyó jamás cosa tal? ¿Quién vio cosa semejante? ¿Un país se hace acaso en un día? ¿O nace una nación de una vez? Pues antes de sentir los dolores Sión dio a luz a sus hijos.
¿Quién oyó cosa semejante? ¿quién vió cosa tal? ¿parirá la tierra en un día? ¿nacerá una nación de una vez? Pues en cuanto Sión estuvo de parto, parió sus hijos.
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she gave birth to her children.
“¿Acaso voy a abrir Yo (el seno materno) para no dejarlo dar a luz?” dice Yahvé. “¿O lo cerraré acaso Yo, el que hace dar a luz?” dice tu Dios.
¿Yo que hago parir, no pariré? dijo Jehová. ¿Yo que hago engendrar, seré detenido? dice el Dios tuyo.
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to be delivered?” says the LORD. “Shall I who cause to give birth shut the womb?” says your God.
¡Regocijaos con Jerusalén y alegraos en ella, todos los que la amáis! Exultad con ella cuantos por ella estáis llorando,
Alegraos con Jerusalem, y gozaos con ella, todos los que la amáis: llenaos con ella de gozo, todos los que os enlutáis por ella:
Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
“Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all you who love her. Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn over her;
para que maméis hasta saciaros de los pechos de sus consolaciones; para que sorbáis con fruición la abundancia de su gloria.
Para que maméis y os saciéis de los pechos de sus consolaciones; para que ordeñéis, y os deleitéis con el resplandor de su gloria.
That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
that you may nurse and be satisfied at the comforting breasts; that you may drink deeply, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.”
Porque así dice Yahvé: “He aquí que voy a derramar sobre ella la paz como un río, y, como un torrente desbordado, la gloria de los gentiles. Vosotros chuparéis su leche; seréis llevados en brazos y acariciados sobre rodillas.
Porque así dice Jehová: He aquí que yo extiendo sobre ella paz como un río, y la gloria de las gentes como un arroyo que sale de madre; y mamaréis, y sobre el lado seréis traídos, y sobre las rodillas seréis regalados.
For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
For the LORD says, “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream, and you will nurse. You will be carried on her side, and will be dandled on her knees.
Como aquel a quien consuela su madre, así os consolaré Yo a vosotros; seréis consolados en Jerusalén.
Como aquel á quien consuela su madre, así os consolaré yo á vosotros, y en Jerusalem tomaréis consuelo.
As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. You will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
Al verlo realizado se alborozará vuestro corazón, y vuestros huesos florecerán como la hierba; se hará manifiesta la mano de Yahvé en favor de sus siervos, y su indignación contra sus enemigos.
Y veréis, y alegraráse vuestro corazón, y vuestros huesos reverdecerán como la hierba: y la mano de Jehová para con sus siervos será conocida, y se airará contra sus enemigos.
And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
You will see it, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones will flourish like the tender grass. The LORD’s hand will be known among his servants; and he will have indignation against his enemies.
Pues he aquí que Yahvé viene en medio del fuego, y en su carroza semejante a torbellino, para derramar su ira con furor, y su vindicta mediante llamas de fuego.
Porque he aquí que Jehová vendrá con fuego, y sus carros como torbellino, para tornar su ira en furor, y su reprensión en llama de fuego.
For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and his chariots will be like the whirlwind; to give his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Pues Yahvé va a ejercer el juicio con fuego, y con su espada sobre toda carne; y serán muchos los que perecerán por la mano de Yahvé.
Porque Jehová juzgará con fuego y con su espada á toda carne: y los muertos de Jehová serán multiplicados.
For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
For the LORD will execute judgment by fire and by his sword on all flesh; and those slain by the LORD will be many.
Los que se santifican y purifican para (el culto en) los huertos, (yendo) tras un mistagogo, los que comen carne de cerdo, manjares abominables y ratones, perecerán todos, dice Yahvé;
Los que se santifican y los que se purifican en los huertos, unos tras otros, los que comen carne de puerco, y abominación, y ratón; juntamente serán talados, dice Jehová.
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
“Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go to the gardens, following one in the middle, eating pig’s meat, abominable things, and the mouse, they shall come to an end together,” says the LORD.
porque (Yo conozco) sus obras y sus designios. Ha venido (el tiempo) de congregar todas las naciones y lenguas; y vendrán y verán mi gloria.
Porque yo entiendo sus obras y sus pensamientos: tiempo vendrá para juntar todas las gentes y lenguas; y vendrán, y verán mi gloria.
For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
“For I know their works and their thoughts. The time comes that I will gather all nations and languages, and they will come, and will see my glory.
Pondré en medio de ellos una señal, y enviaré sus sobrevivientes a las naciones, a Tarsis, a Pul, a Lud, a Mósoc, a Rosch, a Tubal y a Javán, a las islas remotas que no han oído hablar de Mí, ni han visto la gloria mía; ellos anunciarán mi gloria entre los gentiles.
Y pondré entre ellos señal, y enviaré de los escapados de ellos á las gentes, á Tarsis, á Pul y Lud, que disparan arco, á Tubal y á Javán, á las islas apartadas que no oyeron de mí, ni vieron mi gloria; y publicarán mi gloria entre las gentes.
And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
“I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to far-away islands, who have not heard my fame, nor have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.
De entre todas las naciones traerán a todos vuestros hermanos, como ofrenda a Yahvé, a caballo, en carros, en literas, en mulos y en dromedarios, a mi santo monte, a Jerusalén, dice Yahvé; de igual modo que los hijos de Israel traen la ofrenda, en vaso limpio, a la Casa de Yahvé.
Y traerán á todos vuestros hermanos de entre todas las naciones, por presente á Jehová, en caballos, en carros, en literas, y en mulos, y en camellos, á mi santo monte de Jerusalem, dice Jehová, al modo que los hijos de Israel traen el presente en vasos limpios á la casa de Jehová.
And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
They shall bring all your brothers out of all the nations for an offering to the LORD, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the LORD’s house.
Y de entre ellos tomaré también a algunos para sacerdotes y levitas, dice Yahvé.
Y tomaré también de ellos para sacerdotes y Levitas, dice Jehová.
And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
Of them I will also select priests and Levites,” says the LORD.
Porque así como los nuevos cielos y la nueva tierra que voy a hacer, subsistirán ante Mí, dice Yahvé, así subsistirá vuestro linaje y vuestro nombre.
Porque como los cielos nuevos y la nueva tierra, que yo hago, permanecen delante de mí, dice Jehová, así permanecerá vuestra simiente y vuestro nombre.
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me,” says the LORD, “so your offspring and your name shall remain.
Y de neomenia en neomenia, y de sábado en sábado, vendrá toda carne para postrarse delante de Mí, dice Yahvé
Y será que de mes en mes, y de sábado en sábado, vendrá toda carne á adorar delante de mí, dijo Jehová.
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
It shall happen that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before me,” says the LORD.
Y saldrán, y verán los cadáveres de los hombres que se rebelaron contra Mí; cuyo gusano nunca morirá, y cuyo fuego nunca se apagará; y serán objeto de horror para todos los hombres.
Y saldrán, y verán los cadáveres de los hombres que se rebelaron contra mí: porque su gusano nunca morirá, ni su fuego se apagará; y serán abominables á toda carne.
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
“They will go out, and look at the dead bodies of the men who have transgressed against me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
