Queste cose dice il Signore: Il cielo è mio seggio, e la terra sgabello a' miei piedi: che casa è quella, che voi edificherete per me, e che luogo è quello, dov' io riposi?
JEHOVÁ dijo así: El cielo es mi solio, y la tierra estrado de mis pies: ¿dónde está la casa que me habréis de edificar, y dónde este lugar de mi reposo?
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
The LORD says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build to me? Where will I rest?
Queste cose tutte le fece la mano mia, e furon fatte tutte quante, dice il Signore: ma verso di chi volgerò io il mio sguardo, se non al poverello, e all'uom contrito di spirito, e che trema alla mia parola?
Mi mano hizo todas estas cosas, y así todas estas cosas fueron, dice Jehová: mas á aquél miraré que es pobre y humilde de espíritu, y que tiembla á mi palabra.
For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
For my hand has made all these things, and so all these things came to be,” says the LORD: “but I will look to this man, even to he who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.
Colui, che immola un bue, è come chi uccide un uomo: chi scanna un agnello, come chi taglia il capo ad un cane: chi l'obblazione offerisce, come chi presentasse sangue di porco: chi dell'incenso ricordasi, come chi bene dicesse un simolacro. Tutte queste cose hanno essi elette secondo le loro inclinazioni, e l'anima loro ha amate le loro abbominazioni.
El que sacrifica buey, como si matase un hombre; el que sacrifica oveja, como si degollase un perro; el que ofrece presente, como si ofreciese sangre de puerco; el que ofrece perfume, como si bendijese á un ídolo. Y pues escogieron sus caminos, y su alma amó sus abominaciones,
He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
He who kills an ox is as he who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, as he who breaks a dog’s neck; he who offers an offering, as he who offers pig’s blood; he who burns frankincense, as he who blesses an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
Quindi io pure imiterò le lor derisioni; e le cose, che temevano, manderò sopra di loro, perchè chiamai, e non fu chi rispondesse; parlai, e non mi diedero retta, e fecero il male sugli occhi miei, e vollero quel, ch'io non voleva.
También yo escogeré sus escarnios, y traeré sobre ellos lo que temieron; porque llamé, y nadie respondió; hablé, y no oyeron; antes hicieron lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogieron lo que á mí desagrada.
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Udite la parola del Signore, voi, che alla parola di lui tremate: I vostri fratelli, che vi odiano, e a causa del nome mio vi rigettano, hanno detto: si glorifichi il Signore, e nella vostra letizia noi lo riconosceremo. Ma eglino saran confusi.
Oid palabra de Jehová, vosotros los que tembláis á su palabra: Vuestros hermanos los que os aborrecen, y os niegan por causa de mi nombre, dijeron: Glorifíquese Jehová. Mas él se mostrará con alegría vuestra, y ellos serán confundidos.
Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
Hear the LORD’s word, you who tremble at his word: “Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for my name’s sake, have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy;’ but it is those who shall be disappointed.
Voce del popolo dalla città, voce del tempio, voce del Signore, che rende la mercede a' suoi nemici.
Voz de alboroto de la ciudad, voz del templo, voz de Jehová que da el pago á sus enemigos.
A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that repays his enemies what they deserve.
Prima di aver le doglie ella ha partorito: prima del tempo di partorire e ella ha partorito un maschio.
Antes que estuviese de parto, parió; antes que le viniesen dolores parió hijo.
Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
“Before she travailed, she gave birth. Before her pain came, she delivered a son.
Chi udì mai cosa tale? E chi vide cosa simile a quella? La terra partorisce ella in un giorno? Ovvero è egli partorito un popolo tutto insieme? Ma i Sionne si senti gravida, e partorì i suoi figli.
¿Quién oyó cosa semejante? ¿quién vió cosa tal? ¿parirá la tierra en un día? ¿nacerá una nación de una vez? Pues en cuanto Sión estuvo de parto, parió sus hijos.
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she gave birth to her children.
Forse io, che altri fo partorire, io o pur non partorirò, dice il Signore? Io, a che altrui do discendenza sarò sterile, o dice il Signore Dio tuo?
¿Yo que hago parir, no pariré? dijo Jehová. ¿Yo que hago engendrar, seré detenido? dice el Dios tuyo.
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to be delivered?” says the LORD. “Shall I who cause to give birth shut the womb?” says your God.
Congratulatevi con Gerusalemme, ed esultate con lei tutti voi, che la amate; rallegratevi con lei grandemente voi tutti, che piangete per lei;
Alegraos con Jerusalem, y gozaos con ella, todos los que la amáis: llenaos con ella de gozo, todos los que os enlutáis por ella:
Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

Così voi succhierete alle sue mammelle la consolazione, e ne sarete satolli; e copia grande di delizie trarrete dalla splendida gloria di lei.
Para que maméis y os saciéis de los pechos de sus consolaciones; para que ordeñéis, y os deleitéis con el resplandor de su gloria.
That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
that you may nurse and be satisfied at the comforting breasts; that you may drink deeply, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.”
Imperocché queste cose dice il , Signore: Ecco che io volgerò sopra di lei come un fiume di pace, e come torrente, che inonda la gloria delle genti: voi succhierete il suo latte: sul seno di lei sarete portati, e sulle ginocchia vi faranno carezze.
Porque así dice Jehová: He aquí que yo extiendo sobre ella paz como un río, y la gloria de las gentes como un arroyo que sale de madre; y mamaréis, y sobre el lado seréis traídos, y sobre las rodillas seréis regalados.
For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
For the LORD says, “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream, and you will nurse. You will be carried on her side, and will be dandled on her knees.
Come una madre accarezza il bambino, così io consolerò voi, e vostra consolazione sarà in Gerusalemme.
Como aquel á quien consuela su madre, así os consolaré yo á vosotros, y en Jerusalem tomaréis consuelo.
As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Voi vedrete, e si rallegrerà il cuor vostro, e le ossa vostre rinverdiranno com'erba, e sarà conosciuta la man del Signore da' suoi servi; ma il suo sdegno farà egli provare a' suoi nemici.
Y veréis, y alegraráse vuestro corazón, y vuestros huesos reverdecerán como la hierba: y la mano de Jehová para con sus siervos será conocida, y se airará contra sus enemigos.
And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
You will see it, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones will flourish like the tender grass. The LORD’s hand will be known among his servants; and he will have indignation against his enemies.
Perocché ecco che il Signore verrà col fuoco, e il cocchio di lui sarà come un turbine, per ispandere nella sua indegnazione il suo furore, e la sua vendetta dell'ardor delle fiamme:
Porque he aquí que Jehová vendrá con fuego, y sus carros como torbellino, para tornar su ira en furor, y su reprensión en llama de fuego.
For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and his chariots will be like the whirlwind; to give his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Perchè il Signore cinto di fuoco, e di sua spada farà giudizio di tutta la carne, e il numero di quegli, che il Signore ucciderà, sarà grande:
Porque Jehová juzgará con fuego y con su espada á toda carne: y los muertos de Jehová serán multiplicados.
For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
For the LORD will execute judgment by fire and by his sword on all flesh; and those slain by the LORD will be many.
Quei, che si santificavano, e credevan di farsi puri negli orti dietro la porta, quei, che mangiavan carne di porco, e cose abbominevoli, e i sorci, periran tutti insieme, dice il Signore:
Los que se santifican y los que se purifican en los huertos, unos tras otros, los que comen carne de puerco, y abominación, y ratón; juntamente serán talados, dice Jehová.
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
“Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go to the gardens, following one in the middle, eating pig’s meat, abominable things, and the mouse, they shall come to an end together,” says the LORD.
Ma io le opere loro, e i loro pensieri vengo a raunare con tutte le genti, e con tutte le lingue, e verranno, e vedran la mia gloria.
Porque yo entiendo sus obras y sus pensamientos: tiempo vendrá para juntar todas las gentes y lenguas; y vendrán, y verán mi gloria.
For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

Ma alzerò tra di esse un segno, e di que', che saranno salvati, ne spedirò alle genti pel mare, nell'Africa, nella Lidia (a genti, che scoccano saette), e per l'Italia, e per la Grecia, alle rimote isole, a genti, che non han sentito parlar di me, e non han veduto la mia gloria. E la mia gloria annunzieran quelli alle genti:
Y pondré entre ellos señal, y enviaré de los escapados de ellos á las gentes, á Tarsis, á Pul y Lud, que disparan arco, á Tubal y á Javán, á las islas apartadas que no oyeron de mí, ni vieron mi gloria; y publicarán mi gloria entre las gentes.
And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

Ed ei condurranno tutti i fratelli vostri di tutte nazioni in obblazione al Signore su' cavalli, su' cocchi, nelle lettighe, su' muli, e su' carri al monte mio santo di Gerusalemme, dice il Signore, come quando i figliuoli d'Israele portano in un mondo vaso l'offerta alla casa del Signore.
Y traerán á todos vuestros hermanos de entre todas las naciones, por presente á Jehová, en caballos, en carros, en literas, y en mulos, y en camellos, á mi santo monte de Jerusalem, dice Jehová, al modo que los hijos de Israel traen el presente en vasos limpios á la casa de Jehová.
And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
They shall bring all your brothers out of all the nations for an offering to the LORD, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the LORD’s house.
E di questi io ne sceglierò de' sacerdoti, e de' Leviti, dice il Signore:
Y tomaré también de ellos para sacerdotes y Levitas, dice Jehová.
And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
Of them I will also select priests and Levites,” says the LORD.
Imperocché come i nuovi cieli, e la nuova terra, ch'io fo stare alla mia presenza: così starà la stirpe vostra, e il vostro nome, dice il Signore.
Porque como los cielos nuevos y la nueva tierra, que yo hago, permanecen delante de mí, dice Jehová, así permanecerá vuestra simiente y vuestro nombre.
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me,” says the LORD, “so your offspring and your name shall remain.
E di mese in mese, e di sabato in sabato verrà ogni uomo a prostrarsi dinanzi a me, dice il Signore.
Y será que de mes en mes, y de sábado en sábado, vendrá toda carne á adorar delante de mí, dijo Jehová.
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
It shall happen that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before me,” says the LORD.
E usciranno a vedere i cadaveri di coloro, che han prevaricato contro di me: il loro verme non muore, e il loro fuoco non si estinguerà: e il vederli farà nausea ad ogni uomo. Vocazione di Geremia al minuterò di profeta. Si scusa per ragione della sua tenera età, ma Dio lo riempie di fortezza. Gli è comandato di predire la distruzione di Gerusalemme mostrata a lui colla visione di una verga, e di una caldaia, che bolle.
Y saldrán, y verán los cadáveres de los hombres que se rebelaron contra mí: porque su gusano nunca morirá, ni su fuego se apagará; y serán abominables á toda carne.
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
“They will go out, and look at the dead bodies of the men who have transgressed against me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
