Che è quello, che temesti tu, che mancasti di fede, e non ti ricordasti di me, né a me pensasti in cuor tuo? perch'io taceva, come se non vedessi, tu pur ti scordasti di me.
¿Y de quién te asustaste y temiste, que has faltado á la fe, y no te has acordado de mí, ni te vino al pensamiento? ¿No he yo disimulado desde tiempos antiguos, y nunca me has temido?
And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?
