E il Signore volle consumarlo nei patimenti: se egli darà l'anima sua ostia per lo peccato, vedrà una di scendenza di lunga durata, e la volontà del Signore per mezzo di lui sarà adempiuta.
Con todo eso Jehová quiso quebrantarlo, sujetándole á padecimiento. Cuando hubiere puesto su vida en expiación por el pecado, verá linaje, vivirá por largos días, y la voluntad de Jehová será en su mano prosperada.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days and the LORD’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.
