Le dí mi espalda a los que me azotaban, y mis mejillas a quienes arrancaban mi barba; no escondí mí rostro de actos de vergüenza y de escupitajos.

Dí mi cuerpo á los heridores, y mis mejillas á los que me mesaban el cabello: no escondí mi rostro de las injurias y esputos.

I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
