E la tua discendenza sarebbe stata come l'arena del mare, e la stirpe del tuo seno come le sue pietruzze: non sarebbe perito, e non sarebbe stato distrutto dinanzi a me il nome di lui.

Fuera como la arena tu simiente, y los renuevos de tus entrañas como las pedrezuelas de ella; nunca su nombre fuera cortado, ni raído de mi presencia.

Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.

Your offspring also would have been as the sand and the descendants of your body like its grains. His name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.”
