Isaías 48

Avessi tu avuto a cuore i miei precetti: quasi fiume sarebbe la pace tua, e la tua giustizia come i gorghi del mare.

¡Ojalá miraras tú á mis mandamientos! fuera entonces tu paz como un río, y tu justicia como las ondas de la mar.

O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
