Isaías 47

Ecco ch'ei son diventati come paglia, il fuoco gli ha divorati: non potran liberare le anime loro dalle fiamme: elle non sono un fuoco fatto per iscaldarsi, oppur per sedervi a crocchio.

He aquí que serán como tamo; fuego los quemará, no salvarán sus vidas del poder de la llama; no quedará brasa para calentarse, ni lumbre á la cual se sienten.

Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

Behold, they are like stubble. The fire will burn them. They won’t deliver themselves from the power of the flame. It won’t be a coal to warm at or a fire to sit by.
