Isaías 44

Io, che vani rendo i presagi degl'indovini, e tolgo il senno agli astrologi: e fo cadere all'indietro i sapienti, e la loro scienza fo divenire stoltezza.

Que deshago las señales de los adivinos, y enloquezco á los agoreros; que hago tornar atrás los sabios, y desvanezco su sabiduría;

That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

who frustrates the signs of the liars, and makes diviners mad; who turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish;
