Mirad, el SEÑOR de los Ejércitos, está a punto de quitar de Jerusalén y de Judá apoyo y personal: todo el suministro de pan, y todo el suministro de agua;
PORQUE he aquí que el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos quita de Jerusalem y de Judá el sustentador y el fuerte, todo sustento de pan y todo socorro de agua;

"Yo colocaré meros jóvenes como sus líderes, y los jóvenes gobernarán sobre ellos.
Y pondréles mozos por príncipes, y muchachos serán sus señores.
And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

Las personas serán oprimidas, cada una por otra, y cada uno por su vecino; el hijo insultará al anciano, y el depravado retará al honorable.
Y el pueblo hará violencia los unos á los otros, cada cual contra su vecino: el mozo se levantará contra el viejo, y el villano contra el noble.
And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

Un hombre aún tomará a su hermano en la casa de su padre y dirá: 'Tú tienes un abrigo; sé nuestro gobernante, y sea ésta ruina en tus manos.'
Cuando alguno trabare de su hermano, de la familia de su padre, y le dijere, Que vestir tienes, tú serás nuestro príncipe, y sea en tu mano esta ruina;
When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
Indeed a man shall take hold of his brother in the house of his father, saying, “You have clothing, you be our ruler, and let this ruin be under your hand.”
En ese día él gritará y dirá: 'Yo no voy a ser un sanador; yo no tengo pan o ropa. Tú no me harás gobernante del pueblo.'"
El jurará aquel día, diciendo: No tomaré ese cuidado; porque en mi casa ni hay pan, ni qué vestir: no me hagáis príncipe del pueblo.
In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

Pues Jerusalén ha tropezado y Judá ha caído, porque su lenguaje y sus acciones están contra el SEÑOR, desafiando los ojos de Su gloria.
Pues arruinada está Jerusalem, y Judá ha caído; porque la lengua de ellos y sus obras han sido contra Jehová, para irritar los ojos de su majestad.
For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

La mirada en sus rostros testifica contra ellos; y ellos anuncian su pecado como Sodoma; ellos no lo esconden. ¡Ay de ellos! Pues ellos han causado una catástrofe para sí mismos.
La apariencia del rostro de ellos los convence: que como Sodoma predican su pecado, no lo disimulan. ¡Ay del alma de ellos! porque allegaron mal para sí.
The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
The look of their faces testify against them. They parade their sin like Sodom. They don’t hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought disaster upon themselves.
Dile a la persona justa que le irá bien, pues ellos van a comer el fruto de sus obras.
Decid al justo que le irá bien: porque comerá de los frutos de sus manos.
Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Tell the righteous that it will be well with them, for they will eat the fruit of their deeds.
¡Ay para el malvado! Le irá mal, pues la recompensa de sus manos será hecha a él.
¡Ay del impío! mal le irá: porque según las obras de sus manos le será pagado.
Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them, for the deeds of their hands will be paid back to them.
Pueblo mío-- niños son sus opresores, y mujeres gobiernan sobre ellos. Mi pueblo, aquellos que los guían a ustedes los llevan por mal camino y confunden la dirección de su camino.
Los exactores de mi pueblo son muchachos, y mujeres se enseñorearon de él. Pueblo mío, los que te guían te engañan, y tuercen la carrera de tus caminos.
As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

El SEÑOR litiga una acusación; Él está en pie para acusar al pueblo.
Jehová está en pie para litigar, y está para juzgar los pueblos.
The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.

El SEÑOR vendrá con juicio contra los ancianos de Su pueblo y sus líderes: "Ustedes han arruinado el viñedo; el saqueo de los pobres está en sus casas.
Jehová vendrá á juicio contra los ancianos de su pueblo y contra sus príncipes; porque vosotros habéis devorado la viña, y el despojo del pobre está en vuestras casas.
The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

¿Por qué aplastan ustedes a Mi pueblo y agobian las caras de los pobres?" Esta es la declaración del SEÑOR de los Ejércitos.
¿Qué pensáis vosotros que majáis mi pueblo, y moléis las caras de los pobres? dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
What do you mean that you crush my people, and grind the face of the poor?” says the Lord, GOD of Armies.
El SEÑOR dice que porque las hijas de Sion son orgullosas, caminan con sus cabezas erguidas, y coquetean con sus ojos, flirteando según van y haciendo un tintineo con sus pies,
Asimismo dice Jehová: Por cuanto las hijas de Sión se ensoberbecen, y andan cuellierguidas y los ojos descompuestos; cuando andan van danzando, y haciendo son con los pies:
Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
Moreover the LORD said, “Because the daughters of Zion are arrogant, and walk with outstretched necks and flirting eyes, walking daintily as they go, jingling ornaments on their feet;
por tanto, el Señor formará costras enfermas en las cabezas de las hijas de Sion, y el SEÑOR las hará calvas.
Por tanto, pelará el Señor la mollera de las hijas de Sión, y Jehová descubrirá sus vergüenzas.
Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
therefore the Lord brings sores on the crown of the head of the women of Zion, and the LORD will make their scalps bald.”
En aquel día el Señor removerá sus hermosas joyas del tobillo, cintas para la cabeza, adornos en forma de media luna,
Aquel día quitará el Señor el atavío de los calzados, y las redecillas, y las lunetas;
In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
In that day the Lord will take away the beauty of their anklets, the headbands, the crescent necklaces,
colgantes de orejas, pulseras y velos;
Los collares, y los joyeles, y los brazaletes;
The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
the earrings, the bracelets, the veils,
los pañuelos, las cadenas de tobillo, las fajas y las cajas de perfumes, y los amuletos de suerte.
Las escofietas, y los atavíos de las piernas, los partidores del pelo, los pomitos de olor, y los zarcillos;
The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
the headdresses, the ankle chains, the sashes, the perfume containers, the charms,
Él va a remover los anillos y las prendas de la nariz;
Los anillos, y los joyeles de las narices;
The rings, and nose jewels,
the signet rings, the nose rings,
las túnicas festivas, los mantos, los velos, y los bolsos de mano;
Las ropas de remuda, los mantoncillos, los velos, y los alfileres;
The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
the fine robes, the capes, the cloaks, the purses,
los espejos de manos, el lino fino, las piezas que cubren las cabezas y los abrigos.
Los espejos, los pañizuelos, las gasas, y los tocados.
The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
the hand mirrors, the fine linen garments, the tiaras, and the shawls.
En lugar de dulce perfume habrá peste; en lugar de una banda, una soga; en lugar de cabello bien arreglado, calvicie; y en lugar de una túnica, una cubierta de cilicio; y marcas en lugar de belleza.
Y será que en lugar de los perfumes aromáticos vendrá hediondez; y desgarrón en lugar de cinta; y calvez en lugar de la compostura del cabello; y en lugar de faja ceñimiento de saco; y quemadura en vez de hermosura.
And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
It shall happen that instead of sweet spices, there shall be rottenness; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of well set hair, baldness; instead of a robe, a wearing of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty.
Sus hombres caerán por la espada, y sus hombres fuertes caerán en guerra.
Tus varones caerán á cuchillo, y tu fuerza en la guerra.
Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
Your men shall fall by the sword, and your mighty in the war.
Los portones de Jerusalén se lamentarán y gemirán; y ella estará sola y sentada en el suelo.
Sus puertas se entristecerán y enlutarán, y ella, desamparada, sentaráse en tierra.
And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.
