Vielleicht hört der Herr, dein Gott, die Worte des Rabsake, den sein Herr, der König von Assyrien, gesandt hat, den lebendigen Gott zu höhnen, und ahndet die Reden, die der Herr, dein Gott, gehört hat; so bete denn für den Rest, der noch vorhanden ist.
Quizá oirá Jehová tu Dios las palabras de Rabsaces, al cual envió el rey de Asiria su señor á blasfemar al Dios vivo, y á reprender con las palabras que oyó Jehová tu Dios: alza pues oración tú por las reliquias que aun han quedado.
It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.

sprach Jesaja zu ihnen: Saget eurem Herrn: So spricht der Herr: Fürchte dich nicht vor den Reden, die du gehört hast, mit denen die Buben des Königs von Assyrien mich gelästert haben.
Y díjoles Isaías: Diréis así á vuestro señor: Así dice Jehová: No temas por las palabras que has oído, con las cuales me han blasfemado los siervos del rey de Asiria.
And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Als nun der Rabsake zurückkehrte, traf er den König von Assyrien im Kampfe wider Libna; denn er hatte gehört, dass er von Lachis abgezogen war.

So sollt ihr zu Hiskia, dem König von Juda, sprechen: Lass dich von deinem Gotte nicht betören, auf den du dich verlässest, indem du denkst: Jerusalem wird nicht in die Hand des Königs von Assyrien gegeben werden.
Diréis así á Ezechîas rey de Judá: No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías, diciendo: Jerusalem no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.

Als Hiskia den Brief aus der Hand der Boten empfangen und gelesen hatte, ging er hinauf in das Haus des Herrn und breitete ihn vor dem Herrn aus:

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

Ciertamente, oh Jehová, los reyes de Asiria destruyeron todas las tierras y sus comarcas,
Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,
Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed all the countries and their land,
und ihre Götter ins Feuer geworfen; denn das sind keine Götter, sondern Werk von Menschenhand, Holz und Stein. Darum konnten sie verderben.

Dies ist das Wort, das der Herr über ihn geredet hat: Es verachtet dich, es spottet dein die Jungfrau, die Tochter Zion; hinter dir her schüttelt das Haupt die Tochter Jerusalem.
Esto es lo que Jehová habló de él: Hate menospreciado, y ha hecho escarnio de ti la virgen hija de Sión: meneó su cabeza á tus espaldas la hija de Jerusalem.
This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

Wen hast du gehöhnt und gelästert, gegen wen hochfahrend geredet und hoch deine Augen erhoben? Wider den Heiligen Israels!
¿A quién injuriaste y á quién blasfemaste? ¿contra quién has alzado tu voz, y levantado tus ojos en alto? Contra el Santo de Israel.
Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

Durch deine Knechte hast du den Herrn gehöhnt und gesagt: "Mit der Menge meiner Wagen ersteige ich die Höhe der Berge, die Enden des Libanon; ich schlage den Hochwald seiner Zedern und seine auserlesenen Zypressen, und ich dringe bis zu seiner höchsten Höhe, in das Dickicht seines Baumgartens.

By your servants, you have defied the Lord, and have said, “With the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon. I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees. I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field.
Ich grabe auf und trinke fremde Wasser und trockne aus mit meinen Fusssohlen alle Ströme Ägyptens."

Hast du es nicht gehört? Von lange her habe ich es gefügt und seit den Tagen der Vorzeit bereitet; jetzt habe ich's kommen lassen, dass du feste Städte zerstören musstest zu wüsten Steinhaufen.
¿No has oído decir que de mucho tiempo ha yo lo hice, que de días antiguos lo he formado? Helo hecho venir ahora, y será para destrucción de ciudades fuertes en montones de ruinas.
Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.
“‘Have you not heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it in ancient times? Now I have brought it to pass, that it should be yours to destroy fortified cities, turning them into ruinous heaps.
Und die darin wohnten, die Ohnmächtigen, erschraken und wurden zuschanden, wurden wie Kraut des Feldes und wie junges Grün, wie Gras auf den Dächern und versengtes Korn.
Y sus moradores, cortos de manos, quebrantados y confusos, serán como grama del campo y hortaliza verde, como hierba de los tejados, que antes de sazón se seca.
Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.

Ich weiss um dein Aufstehen und dein Sitzen, dein Gehen und Kommen kenne ich wohl und dein Toben wider mich.

Und dies sei dir das Zeichen: Heuer isst man, was von selbst wächst, im nächsten Jahre, was noch aus den Wurzeln wächst; im dritten Jahre aber säet und erntet, pflanzet Weinberge und esset ihre Frucht. (1) d.h. Hiskia.
Y esto te será por señal: Comerás este año lo que nace de suyo, y el año segundo lo que nace de suyo: y el año tercero sembraréis y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis su fruto.
And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.
“‘This shall be the sign to you: You will eat this year that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from it; and in the third year sow and reap and plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.
Und was vom Hause Juda entronnen und übriggeblieben ist, wird unten wieder Wurzel schlagen und oben Frucht ansetzen.

Denn von Jerusalem wird ein Rest ausgehen und Entronnene vom Berge Zion. Der Eifer des Herrn der Heerscharen wird das tun.
Porque de Jerusalem saldrán reliquias, y del monte de Sión salvamento: el celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go out, and survivors will escape from Mount Zion. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will perform this.’
Darum spricht der Herr über den König von Assyrien also: Er wird nicht in diese Stadt hineinkommen und keinen Pfeil darein schiessen, mit keinem Schilde gegen sie anrücken und keinen Damm wider sie aufschütten.
Por tanto, así dice Jehová acerca del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella: no vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado contra ella baluarte.
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.

Auf dem Weg, den er gekommen, wird er zurückkehren, in diese Stadt aber wird er nicht hineinkommen, spricht der Herr.

Und ich will diese Stadt beschirmen, dass ich ihr helfe, um meinetwillen und um meines Knechtes David willen.

Da ging der Engel des Herrn aus und erschlug im Lager der Assyrer 185 000 Mann. Und am andern Morgen früh, siehe, da waren sie alle tot, lauter Leichen.

And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.
