6Vê! Tu confias no Egito, aquela cana quebrada na qual te apoias para caminhar, mas, se o homem se apoiar nela, será como um pedaço de pau que furará a sua mão. Isso é o que Faraó, rei do Egito, é para qualquer um que nele confia.

6He aquí que confías en este bordón de caña frágil, en Egipto, sobre el cual si alguien se apoyare, entrarásele por la mano, y se la atravesará. Tal es Faraón rey de Egipto para con todos los que en él confían.

6Lo, thou trustest in the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt; whereon if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all that trust in him.
