Isaías 33

In Trauer welkt das Land dahin, in Scham stirbt der Libanon ab, die Saronebene wird zur Steppe, Basan und Karmel werfen ihr Laub ab.

Enlutóse, enfermó la tierra: el Líbano se avergonzó, y fué cortado: hase tornado Sarón como desierto; y Basán y Carmel fueron sacudidos.

The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.

The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped bare.
