1As coisas que Isaías, filho de Amoz, viu, relacionadas a Judá e a Jerusalém.
2Acontecerá que, nos últimos dias, o monte da casa de Yahweh será estabelecido como o mais alto dos montes, será exaltado sobre as colinas, e todas as nações correrão para ele.
3Muitos povos virão e dirão: "Vinde! Subamos ao monte de Yahweh, à casa do Deus de Jacó. Ali, Ele nos ensinará os Seus caminhos e andaremos em Suas veredas". Pois de Sião sairá a lei, a palavra de Yahweh virá de Jerusalém.
4Ele julgará entre as nações e dará vereditos para muitos povos; eles converterão suas espadas em arados e suas lanças, em foices; nação nenhuma levantará a espada contra outra nação, nem jamais treinará para a guerra.
5Vinde, ó casa de Jacó, e andemos na luz de Yahweh.
6Pois Tu abandonaste o Teu povo, a casa de Jacó, porque eles estão cheios dos costumes do leste e de adivinhadores, como os filisteus, e fazem acordos com os filhos dos estrangeiros.
7A terra deles está cheia de prata e ouro, e não há limites para sua riqueza; também está repleta de cavalos, não há limites para as suas carruagens.
8Sua terra está cheia de ídolos; eles adoram o trabalho das próprias mãos, objetos que seus dedos fizeram.
9O povo se curvará e indivíduos cairão; portanto, não os levantes.
10Vai até os locais rochosos e esconde-te no chão por causa do terror que vem de Yahweh, de Sua glória e majestade.
11O olhar altivo do homem será humilhado, a arrogância do homem será derrubada, e somente Yahweh será exaltado naquele dia.
12Pois haverá um dia em que Yahweh dos Exércitos irá contra todo aquele que é orgulhoso e exaltado e contra todo aquele que é arrogante — e este será humilhado;
13contra todos os cedros do Líbano, que são altos e elevados, e contra todos os carvalhos de Basã.
14Naquele dia, Yahweh dos Exércitos será contra todos os altos montes, contra todas as colinas elevadas,
15contra toda torre alta, contra todo muro fortificado,
16contra todos os navios de Társis e contra todas as belas embarcações.
17O orgulho do homem será humilhado e a sua arrogância cairá. Somente Yahweh será exaltado naquele dia.
18Os ídolos passarão completamente.
19Os homens fugirão para as cavernas nas rochas e para os buracos no chão, por causa do terror que vem de Yahweh e do esplendor da Sua majestade, quando Ele Se levantar para aterrorizar a terra.
20Naquele dia, o povo jogará fora os seus ídolos de prata e de ouro — que fizeram para serem adorados. Eles vão lançá-los às toupeiras e aos morcegos.
21O povo correrá para as cavernas nas rochas e para dentro das fendas dos penhascos, devido ao terror que vem de Yahweh e da Sua glória e majestade, quando Ele Se levantar para aterrorizar a terra.
22Parai de confiar no homem, cujo sopro de vida está em suas narinas, pois que valor ele tem?

1LO que vió Isaías, hijo de Amoz, tocante á Judá y á Jerusalem.
2Y acontecerá en lo postrero de los tiempos, que será confirmado el monte de la casa de Jehová por cabeza de los montes, y será ensalzado sobre los collados, y correrán á él todas las gentes.
3Y vendrán muchos pueblos, y dirán: Venid, y subamos al monte de Jehová, á la casa del Dios de Jacob; y nos enseñará en sus caminos, y caminaremos por sus sendas. Porque de Sión saldrá la ley, y de Jerusalem la palabra de Jehová.
4Y juzgará entre las gentes, y reprenderá á muchos pueblos; y volverán sus espadas en rejas de arado, y sus lanzas en hoces: no alzará espada gente contra gente, ni se ensayarán más para la guerra.
5Venid, oh casa de Jacob, y caminemos á la luz de Jehová.
6Ciertamente tú has dejado tu pueblo, la casa de Jacob, porque son henchidos de oriente, y de agoreros, como los Filisteos; y en hijos ajenos descansan.
7Su tierra está llena de plata y oro, sus tesoros no tienen fin. También está su tierra llena de caballos; ni sus carros tienen número.
8Además está su tierra llena de ídolos, y á la obra de sus manos se han arrodillado, á lo que fabricaron sus dedos.
9Y hase inclinado el hombre, y el varón se ha humillado: por tanto no los perdonarás.
10Métete en la piedra, escóndete en el polvo, de la presencia espantosa de Jehová y del resplandor de su majestad.
11La altivez de los ojos del hombre será abatida, y la soberbia de los hombres será humillada; y Jehová solo será ensalzado en aquel día.
12Porque día de Jehová de los ejércitos vendrá sobre todo soberbio y altivo, y sobre todo ensalzado; y será abatido:
13Y sobre todos los cedros del Líbano altos y sublimes, y sobre todos los alcornoques de Basán;
14Y sobre todos los montes altos, y sobre todos los collados levantados;
15Y sobre toda torre alta, y sobre todo muro fuerte;
16Y sobre todas las naves de Tarsis, y sobre todas pinturas preciadas.
17Y la altivez del hombre será abatida, y la soberbia de los hombres será humillada; y solo Jehová será ensalzado en aquel día.
18Y quitará totalmente los ídolos.
19Y meteránse en las cavernas de las peñas, y en las aberturas de la tierra, por la presencia espantosa de Jehová, y por el resplandor de su majestad, cuando se levantare él para herir la tierra.
20Aquel día arrojará el hombre, á los topos y murciélagos, sus ídolos de plata y sus ídolos de oro, que le hicieron para que adorase;
21Y se entrarán en las hendiduras de las rocas y en las cavernas de las peñas, por la presencia formidable de Jehová, y por el resplandor de su majestad, cuando se levantare para herir la tierra.
22Dejaos del hombre, cuyo hálito está en su nariz; porque ¿de qué es él estimado?

1The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
6Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
7Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:
8Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
9And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.
10Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.
11The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
12For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
13And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
14And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,
15And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,
16And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.
17And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
18And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
19And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
20In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
22Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

1This is what Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2It shall happen in the latter days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.
3Many peoples shall go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law shall go out of Zion, and the LORD’s word from Jerusalem.
4He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples. They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5House of Jacob, come, and let’s walk in the light of the LORD.
6For you have forsaken your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled from the east, with those who practice divination like the Philistines, and they clasp hands with the children of foreigners.
7Their land is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures. Their land also is full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots.
8Their land also is full of idols. They worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.
9Man is brought low, and mankind is humbled; therefore don’t forgive them.
10Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the glory of his majesty.
11The lofty looks of man will be brought low, the arrogance of men will be bowed down, and the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.
12For there will be a day of the LORD of Armies for all that is proud and arrogant, and for all that is lifted up, and it shall be brought low—
13for all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, for all the oaks of Bashan,
14for all the high mountains, for all the hills that are lifted up,
15for every lofty tower, for every fortified wall,
16for all the ships of Tarshish, and for all pleasant imagery.
17The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the arrogance of men shall be brought low; and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
18The idols shall utterly pass away.
19Men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.
20In that day, men shall cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which have been made for themselves to worship, to the moles and to the bats,
21to go into the caverns of the rocks, and into the clefts of the ragged rocks, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.
22Stop trusting in man, whose breath is in his nostrils; for of what account is he?
