JEHOVÁ, tú eres mi Dios: te ensalzaré, alabaré tu nombre; porque has hecho maravillas, los consejos antiguos, la verdad firme.
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

Pues Tú has hecho la ciudad un montón, la ciudad fortificada, una ruina, y una fortaleza de extraños en ninguna ciudad.
Que tornaste la ciudad en montón, la ciudad fuerte en ruina: el alcázar de los extraños que no sea ciudad, ni nunca jamás sea reedeficada.
For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
For you have made a city into a heap, a fortified city into a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city. It will never be built.
Por lo tanto un pueblo fuerte Te glorificará, una ciudad de naciones implacables Te temerán.
Por esto te dará gloria el pueblo fuerte, te temerá la ciudad de gentes robustas.
Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
Therefore a strong people will glorify you. A city of awesome nations will fear you.
Porque Tú has sido un lugar de seguridad para quien es pobre, un refugio para quien tiene necesidad en su angustia- un refugio de la tormenta y una sombra del calor. Cuando el aliento del implacable era como tormenta contra el muro,
Porque fuiste fortaleza al pobre, fortaleza al menesteroso en su aflicción, amparo contra el turbión, sombra contra el calor: porque el ímpetu de los violentos es como turbión contra frontispicio.
For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

y como calor en la tierra seca, Tú suavizaste el ruido de extranjeros, como el calor es suavizado por la sombra de la nube, así que la canción de los implacables es contestada.
Como el calor en lugar seco, así humillarás el orgullo de los extraños; y como calor debajo de nube, harás marchitar el pimpollo de los robustos.
Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
As the heat in a dry place you will bring down the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the dreaded ones will be brought low.
En este monte el SEÑOR de los Ejércitos preparará para todos los pueblos un festín de las mejores comidas, de vinos añejos, de carnes tiernas, un festín sobre heces de vino.
Y Jehová de los ejércitos hará en este monte á todos los pueblos convite de engordados, convite de purificados, de gruesos tuétanos, de purificados líquidos.
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
In this mountain, the LORD of Armies will make all peoples a feast of choice meat, a feast of choice wines, of choice meat full of marrow, of well refined choice wines.
Él destruirá en este monte la cobertura de todos los pueblos, la tela tejida sobre todas las naciones.
Y deshará en este monte la máscara de la cobertura con que están cubiertos todos los pueblos, y la cubierta que está extendida sobre todas las gentes.
And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

Él tragará la muerte para siempre, y el SEÑOR Dios enjugará las lágrimas de todos los rostros; la deshonra de Su pueblo Él la sacará de toda la tierra, pues el SEÑOR lo ha dicho.
Destruirá á la muerte para siempre; y enjugará el Señor toda lágrima de todos los rostros: y quitará la afrenta de su pueblo de toda la tierra: porque Jehová lo ha dicho.
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for the LORD has spoken it.
Se dirá en aquel día: ''Mirad, éste es nuestro Dios; hemos esperado por Él, y Él nos salvará. Éste es el SEÑOR; hemos esperado por Él, estaremos alegres y regocijados en Su salvación.''
Y se dirá en aquel día: He aquí éste es nuestro Dios, le hemos esperado, y nos salvará: éste es Jehová á quien hemos esperado, nos gozaremos y nos alegraremos en su salud.
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Pues en este monte la mano del SEÑOR descansará; y Moab será pisoteado en su lugar, así como la paja es pisoteada en un pozo lleno de estiércol.
Porque la mano de Jehová reposará en este monte, y Moab será trillado debajo de él, como es trillada la paja en el muladar.
For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.
For the LORD’s hand will rest in this mountain. Moab will be trodden down in his place, even like straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.
Ellos extenderán sus manos en el medio de éste, como el nadador extiende sus manos para nadar. Pero el SEÑOR derribará su orgullo a pesar de la habilidad de sus manos.
Y extenderá su mano por en medio de él, como la extiende el nadador para nadar: y abatirá su soberbia con los miembros de sus manos:
And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
He will spread out his hands in the middle of it, like one who swims spreads out hands to swim, but his pride will be humbled together with the craft of his hands.
Las paredes de sus altas fortalezas Él las derribará hasta el suelo, hasta el polvo.
Y allanará la fortaleza de tus altos muros: la humillará y echará á tierra, hasta el polvo.
And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
He has brought the high fortress of your walls down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.
