Cieux, écoutez ! Terre, prête l'oreille ! car l'Éternel parle. J'ai nourri et élevé des enfants, mais ils se sont rebellés contre moi.

Israël ne le connaît pas, mon peuple ne le distingue pas. Malheur à la nation pécheresse, à la nation chargée d'iniquité, à la race méchante, aux enfants dénaturés ! Ils ont abandonné l'Éternel, méprisé le Saint d'Israël, se sont retirés en arrière !…
¡Oh gente pecadora, pueblo cargado de maldad, generación de malignos, hijos depravados! Dejaron á Jehová, provocaron á ira al Santo de Israel, tornáronse atrás.
Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Où vous frapper encore, si vous ajoutez à vos rébellions ?
¿Para qué habéis de ser castigados aún? todavía os rebelaréis. Toda cabeza está enferma, y todo corazón doliente.

¿Para qué á mí, dice Jehová, la multitud de vuestros sacrificios? Harto estoy de holocaustos de carneros, y de sebo de animales gruesos: no quiero sangre de bueyes, ni de ovejas, ni de machos cabríos.

Venez et plaidons, dit l'Éternel. Si vos péchés sont comme le vermillon, ils deviendront blancs comme la neige ; s'ils sont rouges comme la pourpre, ils deviendront tels que la laine.
Venid luego, dirá Jehová, y estemos á cuenta: si vuestros pecados fueren como la grana, como la nieve serán emblanquecidos: si fueren rojos como el carmesí, vendrán á ser como blanca lana.

How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

Ton argent s'est changé en scories, ton vin a été coupé d'eau ;
Tu plata se ha tornado escorias, tu vino mezclado está con agua.
Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:

tes princes sont des rebelles et les compagnons des voleurs ; tous ils aiment les dons corrupteurs et recherchent les présents ; ils ne font pas droit à l'orphelin, et la cause de la veuve ne vient pas jusqu'à eux.
Tus príncipes, prevaricadores y compañeros de ladrones: todos aman las dádivas, y van tras las recompensas: no oyen en juicio al huérfano, ni llega á ellos la causa de la viuda.
Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

Aussi, tel est l'arrêt du Seigneur, de l'Éternel des armées, du Fort d'Israël : Oui, je prendrai satisfaction de mes ennemis et me vengerai de mes adversaires.
Por tanto, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos, el Fuerte de Israel: Ea, tomaré satisfacción de mis enemigos, vengaréme de mis adversarios:
Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

Et je porterai la main sur toi, et comme avec la potasse je fondrai tes scories, et ôterai tout le plomb qui est en toi ;
Y volveré mi mano sobre ti, y limpiaré hasta lo más puro tus escorias, y quitaré todo tu estaño:
And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
I will turn my hand on you, thoroughly purge away your dross, and will take away all your tin.
et je te rendrai des juges tels que dans l'origine, et des conseillers tels qu'au commencement. Alors tu seras appelée Ville de la justice, Cité fidèle.
Y restituiré tus jueces como al principio, y tus consejeros como de primero: entonces te llamarán Ciudad de justicia, Ciudad fiel.
