¡AY de la tierra que hace sombra con las alas, que está tras los ríos de Etiopía;
Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:
Ah, the land of the rustling of wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia;
La quale manda ambasciadori per mare in barche di papiro, che van sulle acque. Andate, nunzj veloci alla nazione scossa, e lacerata, a quel popolo, formidabile più d'ogn'altro, alla nazione, che aspetta, ed è conculcata, di cui la terra è portata via da' fiumi.
Que envía mensajeros por la mar, y en navíos de junco sobre las aguas! Andad, ligeros mensajeros, á la gente tirada y repelada, al pueblo asombroso desde su principio y después; gente harta de esperar y hollada, cuya tierra destruyeron los ríos.
That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
that sends ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of papyrus on the waters, saying, “Go, you swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth, to a people awesome from their beginning onward, a nation that measures out and treads down, whose land the rivers divide!”
Abitatori tutti della terra, che avete stanza sulla terra; alzato che sia lo stendardo sui monti, lo vedrete, e udirete il rauco suon della tromba:
Vosotros, todos los moradores del mundo y habitantes de la tierra, cuando levantará bandera en los montes, la veréis; y oiréis cuando tocará trompeta.
All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
All you inhabitants of the world, and you dwellers on the earth, when a banner is lifted up on the mountains, look! When the trumpet is blown, listen!
Ma il Signore dice a me: Io starò in riposo, e considererò dalla mia sede, come è chiara la luce di mezzogiorno, e come una nube di rugiada al tempo della ricolta.
Porque Jehová me dijo así: Reposaréme, y miraré desde mi morada, como sol claro después de la lluvia, como nube de rocío en el calor de la tierra.
For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
For the LORD said to me, “I will be still, and I will see in my dwelling place, like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”
Imperocché avanti tempo fiorirà tutto, e germoglierà con immatura prosperità, e i suoi tralci saranno recisi colla falce, e quello, che rimarrà, sarà troncato, e gittato via.
Porque antes de la siega, cuando el fruto fuere perfecto, y pasada la flor fueren madurando los frutos, entonces podará con podaderas los ramitos, y cortará y quitará las ramas.
For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.
For before the harvest, when the blossom is over, and the flower becomes a ripening grape, he will cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and he will cut down and take away the spreading branches.
E saranno abbandonati insieme agli uccelli di montagna, e alle bestie della terra, e per tutta l'estate staranno sopra di loro gli uccelli, e tutte le bestie della terra sverneranno sopra di lui.
Y serán dejados todos á las aves de los montes, y á las bestias de la tierra; sobre ellos tendrán el verano las aves, é invernarán todas las bestias de la tierra.
They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
They will be left together for the ravenous birds of the mountains, and for the animals of the earth. The ravenous birds will eat them in the summer, and all the animals of the earth will eat them in the winter.
In quel tempo dal popolo dissipato, e, lacerato, dal popolo formidabile più d'ogni altro, dalla nazione, che aspetta, ed è conculcata (di cui la terra è devastata da' fiumi) saran portati dei doni al Signore degli eserciti nel luogo, che ha nome dal Signor degli eserciti, nel monte di Sion. Profezia contro l'Egitto. Gli Egiziani si convertiranno al Signore.
En aquel tiempo será traído presente á Jehová de los ejércitos, el pueblo tirado y repelado, pueblo asombroso desde su principio y después; gente harta de esperar y hollada, cuya tierra destruyeron los ríos; al lugar del nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos, al monte de Sión.
In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.
In that time, a present will be brought to the LORD of Armies from a people tall and smooth, even from a people awesome from their beginning onward, a nation that measures out and treads down, whose land the rivers divide, to the place of the name of the LORD of Armies, Mount Zion.
