"¡Coloca una trompeta en tus labios! Un águila viene sobre la casa del SEÑOR porque el pueblo ha roto Mi pacto y se ha rebelado en contra de Mi ley.
PON á tu boca trompeta. Vendrá como águila contra la casa de Jehová, porque traspasaron mi pacto, y se rebelaron contra mi ley.
Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.
“Put the trumpet to your lips! Something like an eagle is over the LORD’s house, because they have broken my covenant and rebelled against my law.
Ellos claman a Mí: 'Mi Dios, nosotros en Israel te conocemos.'
A mí clamará Israel: Dios mío, te hemos conocido.
Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.
They cry to me, ‘My God, we, Israel, acknowledge you!’
Pero Israel ha rechazado lo que es bueno, y su enemigo lo perseguirá.
Israel desamparó el bien: enemigo lo perseguirá.
Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.
Israel has cast off that which is good. The enemy will pursue him.
Ellos han puesto reyes, pero no por Mí. Ellos han hecho prínicipes, pero sin Mi conocimiento. Con su plata y su oro han hecho ídolos para sí mismos, pero sólo para su destrucción."
Ellos hicieron reyes, mas no por mí; constituyeron príncipes, mas yo no lo supe: de su plata y de su oro hicieron ídolos para sí, para ser talados.

"Su becerro ha sido rechazado, Samaria. Mi enojo arde en contra de estas personas. ¿Por cuánto tiempo permanecerán culpables?
Tu becerro, oh Samaria, te hizo alejar; encendióse mi enojo contra ellos, hasta que no pudieron alcanzar inocencia.
Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
Let Samaria throw out his calf idol! My anger burns against them! How long will it be until they are capable of purity?
Pues este ídolo vino de Israel; un obrero lo hizo; ¡no es Dios! El becerro de Samaria será roto en pedazos.
Porque de Israel es, y artífice lo hizo; que no es Dios: por lo que en pedazos será deshecho el becerro de Samaria.
For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
For this is even from Israel! The workman made it, and it is no God; indeed, the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
Pues el pueblo sembró el viento y cosechó tempestad. Los granos no tienen espigas, no producen harina. Si no llega a madurez, los extranjeros los devorarán.
Porque sembraron viento, y torbellino segarán: no tendrán mies, ni el fruto hará harina; si la hiciere, extraños la tragarán.
For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.
For they sow the wind, and they will reap the whirlwind. He has no standing grain. The stalk will yield no head. If it does yield, strangers will swallow it up.
Israel ha sido devorado; ahora están entre las naciones como algo inútil.
Será tragado Israel: presto serán entre las gentes como vaso en que no hay contentamiento.
Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure.
Israel is swallowed up. Now they are among the nations like a worthless thing.
Pues ellos fueron hasta Siria como un burro salvaje, solo. Efraín ha alquilado amantes para ella misma.
Porque ellos subieron á Assur, asno montés para sí solo: Ephraim con salario alquiló amantes.
For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers.
For they have gone up to Assyria, like a wild donkey wandering alone. Ephraim has hired lovers for himself.
Incluso cuando ellos han alquilado amantes entre las naciones, Yo ahora los reuniré a todos juntos. Ellos comenzarán a consumirse por causa de la opresión de los reyes y de los príncipes.
Aunque alquilen á las gentes, ahora las juntaré; y serán un poco afligidos por la carga del rey y de los príncipes.
Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes.
But although they sold themselves among the nations, I will now gather them; and they begin to waste away because of the oppression of the king of mighty ones.
Pues Efraín ha multiplicado los altares para ofrendas de pecado, pero en vez, ellos se han vuelto altares para cometer pecado.
Porque multiplicó Ephraim altares para pecar, tuvo altares para pecar.
Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.
Because Ephraim has multiplied altars for sinning, they became for him altars for sinning.
Yo pudiera escribir Mi ley diez mil veces, pero ellos lo verían como algo extraño para ellos.
Escribíle las grandezas de mi ley, y fueron tenidas por cosas ajenas.
I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
I wrote for him the many things of my law, but they were regarded as a strange thing.
En cuanto a los sacrificios de mis ofrendas, ellos sacrifican carne y se la comen, pero Yo, El SEÑOR, no lo acepto. Ahora Yo pensaré en su maldad y castigaré sus pecados. Ellos regresarán a Egipto.
En los sacrificios de mis dones sacrificaron carne, y comieron: no los quiso Jehová: ahora se acordará de su iniquidad, y visitará su pecado; ellos se tornarán á Egipto.
They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.
As for the sacrifices of my offerings, they sacrifice meat and eat it, but the LORD doesn’t accept them. Now he will remember their iniquity, and punish their sins. They will return to Egypt.
Israel se ha olvidado de Mí, su Creador, y han construído palacios. Judá ha fortificado muchas ciudades, pero Yo enviaré fuego a sus ciudades; destruirá sus fuertes.
Olvidó pues Israel á su Hacedor, y edificó templos, y Judá multiplicó ciudades fuertes: mas yo meteré fuego en sus ciudades, el cual devorará sus palacios.
For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.
For Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; and Judah has multiplied fortified cities; but I will send a fire on his cities, and it will devour its fortresses.”
