1Dès que je me suis mis à traiter Israël, on a pu voir l'iniquité d'Ephraïm et les méchancetés de Samarie ; car ils ont pratiqué le mensonge ; le voleur va pénétrer dans la maison, les brigands tiennent la campagne.

1When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.

1When I would heal Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim is uncovered, also the wickedness of Samaria; for they commit falsehood, and the thief enters in, and the gang of robbers ravages outside.
