Écoutez la parole du SEIGNEUR, enfants d'Israël, car le SEIGNEUR a un procès avec les habitants du pays : « Il n'y a en effet ni vérité, ni bonté, ni connaissance de Dieu dans le pays.
OID palabra de Jehová, hijos de Israel, porque Jehová pleitea con los moradores de la tierra; porque no hay verdad, ni misericordia, ni conocimiento de Dios en la tierra.
Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

Perjurar, y mentir, y matar, y hurtar y adulterar prevalecieron, y sangres se tocaron con sangres.

Mon peuple est détruit par manque de connaissance. Puisque tu as rejeté la connaissance, je te rejetterai aussi, afin que tu ne sois plus prêtre pour moi. Puisque tu as oublié la loi de ton Dieu, j'oublierai aussi tes enfants.

Mon peuple consulte son idole de bois, et c'est un bâton de bois qui lui répond. En effet, l'esprit de prostitution les a égarés, et ils ont été infidèles à leur Dieu.

My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

Car Israël s'est montré extrêmement rebelle, comme une génisse rétive. Comment alors le SEIGNEUR pourrait-il les faire paître comme un agneau dans un vaste pâturage ?

For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.

Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye.

Le vent l'a enveloppée dans ses ailes, et ils seront confondus à cause de leurs sacrifices.
