Giudicate la madre vostra, giudicatela; perocché ella non è mia sposa, ed io non sono suo sposo. Tolgasi ella dalla sua faccia le sue fornicazioni, e dal suo seno i suoi adulterj.
Pleitead con vuestra madre, pleitead; porque ella no es mi mujer, ni yo su marido; quite pues sus fornicaciones de su rostro, y sus adulterios de entre sus pechos;
Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;
Contend with your mother! Contend, for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband; and let her put away her prostitution from her face, and her adulteries from between her breasts;
Affinchè io non abbia a spogliarla, e ignudarla, com'era nel giorno, in cui nacque, e non abbia a ridurla come una terra deserta, e come una terra inabitabile, e a farla perire di sete.
No sea que yo la despoje desnuda, y la haga tornar como el día en que nació, y la ponga como un desierto, y la deje como tierra seca, y la mate de sed.

Perocché la madre loro è una adultera, colei, che li concepì, è rimasta svergognata; perocché ella disse: Anderò dietro a' miei drudi, che mi danno il mio pane, la mia acqua, la mia lana, il mio lino, il mio olio, e le mie bevande.
Porque su madre fornicó; la que los engendró fué avergonzada; porque dijo: Iré tras mis amantes, que me dan mi pan y mi agua, mi lana y mi lino, mi aceite y mi bebida.
For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.

Per questo, ecco che io le chiuderò la sua strada con siepe di spine, la chiuderò con una muraglia a secco, ed ella non troverà passaggio.

Ella anderà dietro a suoi drudi, e non li raggiungerà, li cercherà, e non li troverà, e dirà: Anderò, e tornerò al primo mio sposo, perch'io stava allora meglio, che adesso.

Ella però non sapeva, che io fui quegli, che le diedi il grano, e il vino, e l'olio, e la copia d'argento, e di oro, che offersero a Baal.

Per questo io cangerò sistema, e mi ripiglierò a suo tempo il mio grano, e il mio vino, e libererò la mia lana, e il mio lino, che cuoprono la sua turpitudine.
Por tanto yo tornaré, y tomaré mi trigo á su tiempo, y mi vino á su sazón, y quitaré mi lana y mi lino que había dado para cubrir su desnudez.
Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.
Therefore I will take back my grain in its time, and my new wine in its season, and will pluck away my wool and my flax which should have covered her nakedness.
Ed ora manifesterò la sua stoltezza dinanzi agli occhi de' suoi amatori, né uomo alcuno la trarrà dalle mie mani:
Y ahora descubriré yo su locura delante de los ojos de sus amantes, y nadie la librará de mi mano.
And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.

E porrò fine alle sue allegrezze, alle sue solennità, alle sue nuove lune, a' suoi sabati, e a tutte le feste, e a tutte le sue adunanze.
Y haré cesar todo su gozo, sus fiestas, sus nuevas lunas y sus sábados, y todas sus festividades.
I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.

E schianterò le sue vigne, e le ficaie, delle quali ella disse: Elle son queste la mercede pagata a me da miei amatori. Ed io ne farò una macchia, e la divoreranno le fiere selvagge.
Y haré talar sus vides y sus higueras, de que ha dicho: Mi salario me son, que me han dado mis amantes. Y reducirélas á un matorral, y las comerán las bestias del campo.
And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.

E sopra di lei farò vendetta de' giorni sacrati al Baalim, ne' quasi bruciava gl'incensi, e si adornava de' suoi orecchini, e de' suoi vezzi, e andava dietro a' suoi drudi, e non pensava più a me, dice il Signore.
Y visitaré sobre ella los tiempos de los Baales, á los cuales incensaba, y adornábase de sus zarcillos y de sus joyeles, é íbase tras sus amantes olvidada de mí, dice Jehová.
And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.

E a lei darò a suoi vignaiuoli, del medesimo luogo, e la valle di Achor per cominciamento di speranza: e quivi ella canterà come ai giorni di sua giovinezza, e come ai giorni di sua uscita dalla terra d'Egitto.

E quello sarà il giorno, dice il Signore, in cui elle chiamerammi suo a sposo, e non chiamerammi più Baali.
Y será que en aquel tiempo, dice Jehová, me llamarás Marido mío, y nunca más me llamarás Baali.
And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.

E leverò dalla bocca di lei i nomi di Baalim, né de' nomi loro avrà più memoria.
Porque quitaré de su boca los nombres de los Baales, y nunca más serán mentados por sus nombres.
For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

Ed io farò in quel giorno alleanza e tra loro, e le fiere selvagge, e gli uccelli, e tutti i rettili della terra: e l'arco, e la spada, e la guerra leverò dalla terra, e farò che riposino in sicurezza.
Y haré por ellos concierto en aquel tiempo con las bestias del campo, y con las aves del cielo, y con las serpientes de la tierra: y quebraré arco, y espada, y batalla de la tierra, y harélos dormir seguros.
And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.

E meco ti sposerò in eterno; e meco ti sposerò, mediante la giustizia, e il giudicio, e mediante la misericordia, e la benignità.
Y te desposaré conmigo para siempre; desposarte he conmigo en justicia, y juicio, y misericordia, y miseraciones.
And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
I will betroth you to me forever. Yes, I will betroth you to me in righteousness, in justice, in loving kindness, and in compassion.
E meco ti sposerò con fede, e me conoscerai per Signore.
Y te desposaré conmigo en fe, y conocerás á Jehová.
I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.

Allora sarà (dice il Signore), che io esaudirò i cieli, e questi esaudiranno la terra,
Y será que en aquel tiempo responderé, dice Jehová, yo responderé á los cielos, y ellos responderán á la tierra;
And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;
It will happen in that day, that I will respond,” says the LORD. “I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth;
E la terra esaudirà il grano, il vino, e l'olio: e questi esaudiranno Jezrahel.
Y la tierra responderá al trigo, y al vino, y al aceite, y ellos responderán á Jezreel.
And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.
and the earth will respond to the grain, and the new wine, and the oil; and they will respond to Jezreel.
E io me la spargerò qual semenza per la terra: perocché io avrò compassione di lei, che era la non compassionata.
Y sembraréla para mí en la tierra, y tendré misericordia de Lo-ruhama: y diré á Lo-ammi: Pueblo mío tú; y él dirá: Dios mío.
And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.

E dirò a quello, che non era mio popolo: Tu se mio popolo; ed egli dirà: Tu se' il mio Dio. E' comandato al Profeta di amare una adultera, la quale però lo aspetti per molti giorni, perchè i figliuoli d'Israele per molti giorni si staranno senza re, e senza sagrifizio, e finalmente torneranno al Signore.
