Oseas 10

Vite frondosa Israele, la quale ebbe frutti proporzionati. Quanto egli più abbondo di beni, tanto maggior numero ebbe di altari, e quanto la sua terra fu più feconda, maggior copia egli ebbe di simolacri.

ES Israel una frondosa viña, haciendo fruto para sí: conforme á la multiplicación de su fruto multiplicó altares, conforme á la bondad de su tierra aumentaron sus estatuas.

Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.

Israel is a luxuriant vine that produces his fruit. According to the abundance of his fruit he has multiplied his altars. As their land has prospered, they have adorned their sacred stones.

Costoro hanno il cuore diviso, e tosto anderanno in rovina. Dio spezzerà i lor simolacri, e atterrerà i loro altari.

Dividióse su corazón. Ahora serán hallados culpables: él quebrantará sus altares, asolará sus estatuas.

Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.

Their heart is divided. Now they will be found guilty. He will demolish their altars. He will destroy their sacred stones.

Perocché or ora diranno: Noi siam senza re, perchè non temiamo il Signore: e un re, che farebbe egli per noi?

Porque dirán ahora: No tenemos rey, porque no temimos á Jehová: ¿y qué haría el rey por nosotros?

For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?

Surely now they will say, “We have no king; for we don’t fear the LORD; and the king, what can he do for us?”

Ripetete pur le parole di una falsa visione: e stabilite pur l'alleanza: ma la vendetta di Dio pullulerà come l'erba amara sui solchi del campo.

Han hablado palabras jurando en vano al hacer alianza: por tanto, el juicio florecerá como ajenjo en los surcos del campo.

They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.

They make promises, swearing falsely in making covenants. Therefore judgment springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field.

Gli abitanti della Samaria renderon culto alle vacche di Bethaven: e quel popolo, e i suoi sacerdotj, i quali già facevano festa per la gloria di quel vitello, spargono lagrime, perchè egli ne resta spogliato.

Por las becerras de Beth-aven serán atemorizados los moradores de Samaria: porque su pueblo lamentará á causa del becerro, y sus sacerdotes que en él se regocijaban por su gloria, la cual será disipada.

The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Beth-aven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.

The inhabitants of Samaria will be in terror for the calves of Beth Aven, for its people will mourn over it, along with its priests who rejoiced over it, for its glory, because it has departed from it.

Imperocché egli fu trasportato nell'Assiria in dono al re difensore. Ephraim resterà svergognato, e Israele ritrarrà confusione da' suoi consigli.

Y aun será él llevado á Asiria en presente al rey Jareb: Ephraim será avergonzado, é Israel será confuso de su consejo.

It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.

It also will be carried to Assyria for a present to a great king. Ephraim will receive shame, and Israel will be ashamed of his own counsel.

Samaria ha fatto sparire il suo re, come una bolla, che galleggia sull'acqua.

De Samaria fué cortado su rey como la espuma sobre la superficie de las aguas.

As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.

Samaria and her king float away like a twig on the water.

E saranno distrutti i luoghi eccelsi di quel simulacro, il peccato d'Israele. Lappole, e stecchi spunteranno sopra de' loro altari: ed eglino diranno ai monti: cuopriteci: e alle colline: rovesciatevi sopra di noi.

Y los altares de Avén serán destruídos, el pecado de Israel; crecerá sobre sus altares espino y cardo. Y dirán á los montes: Cubridnos; y á los collados: Caed sobre nosotros.

The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.

The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, will be destroyed. The thorn and the thistle will come up on their altars. They will tell the mountains, “Cover us!” and the hills, “Fall on us!”

Dai tempi (del fatto) di Gabaa. Israele fece il peccato: in esso han perseverato: non saranno esposti a una guerra, come quella fatta a Gabaa contro que' figliuoli d'iniquità.

Desde los días de Gabaa has pecado, oh Israel: allí estuvieron: no los tomó la batalla en Gabaa contra los inicuos.

O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.

“Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah. There they remained. The battle against the children of iniquity doesn’t overtake them in Gibeah.

Secondo la mia volontà saranno puniti da me: si aduneranno le genti contro di loro, allorché saranno puniti della doppia loro iniquità.

Y los castigaré como deseo: y pueblos se juntarán sobre ellos cuando serán atados en sus dos surcos.

It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.

When it is my desire, I will chastise them; and the nations will be gathered against them when they are bound to their two transgressions.

Ephraim, vitella avvezza a fare la battitura; ma io domerò la sua bella giogaia: salirò sopra Ephraim, Giuda porrà la mano all'aratro, Giacobbe romperà le zolle co' suoi solchi.

Ephraim es becerra domada, amadora del trillar; mas yo pasaré sobre su lozana cerviz: yo haré llevar yugo á Ephraim; arará Judá, quebrará sus terrones Jacob.

And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.

Ephraim is a trained heifer that loves to thresh, so I will put a yoke on her beautiful neck. I will set a rider on Ephraim. Judah will plow. Jacob will break his clods.

Spargete voi semenza di giustizia, e mieterete copiosa misericordia: rompete la vostra inculta terra: ed è tempo di cercare il Signore, sino a tanto che venga chi insegnerà a voi la giustizia.

Sembrad para vosotros en justicia, segad para vosotros en misericordia; arad para vosotros barbecho: porque es el tiempo de buscar á Jehová, hasta que venga y os enseñe justicia.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap according to kindness. Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and rains righteousness on you.

Araste per l'empietà, avete mietuta iniquità, avete mangiati frutti mendaci. Tu mettesti la tua fidanza ne' tuoi ritrovamenti, e nel numero de' tuoi campioni.

Habéis arado impiedad, segasteis iniquidad: comeréis fruto de mentira: porque confiaste en tu camino, en la multitud de tus fuertes.

Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

You have plowed wickedness. You have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies, for you trusted in your way, in the multitude of your mighty men.

Si alzeranno le strida nel vostro popolo, e tutte le vostre fortezze saranno smantellate, come fu distrutto Salmana in quella battaglia dalla schiera di colui, che fe' vendetta di Baal, fu infranta la madre sopra i suoi figli.

Por tanto, en tus pueblos se levantará alboroto, y todas tus fortalezas serán destruídas, como destruyó Salmán á Beth-arbel el día de la batalla: la madre fué arrojada sobre los hijos.

Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Beth-arbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.

Therefore a battle roar will arise among your people, and all your fortresses will be destroyed, as Shalman destroyed Beth Arbel in the day of battle. The mother was dashed in pieces with her children.

Ecco quello, che ha fatto a voi Bethel, a motivo delle pessime vostre malvagità. Il Signore dimostra, che egli ha sempre amato Israele, ma per le sue scelleraggini lo dà in potere degli Assirj: e non di meno per la sua misericordia egli lo farà tornare al suo paese, affinchè serva al Signore insieme colle nazioni convertite.

Así hará á vosotros Beth-el por la maldad de vuestra maldad: en la mañana será del todo cortado el rey de Israel.

So shall Beth-el do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.

So Bethel will do to you because of your great wickedness. At daybreak the king of Israel will be destroyed.
