Temiamo adunque, che per disgrazia abbandonata la promessa di entrare nella requie di lui, si trovi alcuno di voi restar indietro.

TEMAMOS, pues, que quedando aún la promesa de entrar en su reposo, parezca alguno de vosotros haberse apartado.

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.
