Por lo tanto, hermanos santos, ustedes comparten un llamado celestial. Piensen sobre Jesús, el Apóstol y Gran Sacerdote de nuestra confesión.
POR tanto, hermanos santos, participantes de la vocación celestial, considerad al Apóstol y Pontífice de nuestra profesión, Cristo Jesús;
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,
Él fue fiel a Dios quién le escogió, como Moisés también fue fiel en la casa de Dios.
El cual es fiel al que le constituyó, como también lo fué Moisés sobre toda su casa.
Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house.
Porque Jesús ha sido considerado merecedor de mayor gloria que Moisés, porque el que construye una casa tiene más honor que la casa en sí misma.
Porque de tanto mayor gloria que Moisés éste es estimado digno, cuanto tiene mayor dignidad que la casa el que la fabricó.
For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.
Pues toda casa está construída por alguien, pero Él que construyó todo es Dios.
Porque toda casa es edificada de alguno: mas el que crió todas las cosas es Dios.
For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
Por un lado, Moisés fue fiel como un servidor de Dios en toda Su casa. Él fue un testimonio de las cosas de las que habría de hablarse en el futuro.
Y Moisés á la verdad fué fiel sobre toda su casa, como siervo, para testificar lo que se había de decir;
And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
Pero Cristo es el Hijo a cargo de la casa de Dios. Nosotros somos Su casa, si nos mantenemos firmes a nuestro valor y a nuestra confianza segura.
Mas Cristo como hijo, sobre su casa; la cual casa somos nosotros, si hasta el cabo retuviéremos firme la confianza y la gloria de la esperanza.
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
Por lo tanto, es tal como el Espíritu Santo dice: "HOY, SI USTEDES OYEN SU VOZ,
Por lo cual, como dice el Espíritu Santo: Si oyereis hoy su voz,
Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
NO ENDUREZCAN SUS CORAZONES COMO EN LA REBELIÓN, EN EL TIEMPO DE LA PRUEBA EN EL DESIERTO.
No endurezcáis vuestros corazones como en la provocación, en el día de la tentación en el desierto,
Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
don’t harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
ESTO FUE CUANDO SUS ANCESTROS SE REBELARON PROBÁNDOME, Y CUANDO DURANTE CUARENTA AÑOS, ELLOS VIERON MIS OBRAS.
Donde me tentaron vuestros padres; me probaron, y vieron mis obras cuarenta años.
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years.
POR LO TANTO, YO ESTUVE DISGUSTADO CON ESA GENERACIÓN. YO DIJE: 'ELLOS SIEMPRE ESTÁN SIENDO EXTRAVIADOS EN SUS CORAZONES. ELLOS NO HAN CONOCIDO MIS CAMINOS.'
A causa de lo cual me enemisté con esta generación, y dije: Siempre divagan ellos de corazón, y no han conocido mis caminos.
Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’
ES JUSTO COMO YO JURÉ EN MÍ ENOJO: ELLOS NUNCA ENTRARÁN EN MI REPOSO. '"
Juré, pues, en mi ira: No entrarán en mi reposo.
So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’”
Sean cuidadosos, hermanos, que entre ustedes no haya nadie con un corazón malvado de incredulidad, un corazón que se aleja del Dios vivo.
Mirad, hermanos, que en ninguno de vosotros haya corazón malo de incredulidad para apartarse del Dios vivo:
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
En cambio, anímense unos a otros diariamente, así como es llamado "HOY", para que ninguno de ustedes sea endurecido por el engaño del pecado.
Antes exhortaos los unos á los otros cada día, entre tanto que se dice Hoy; porque ninguno de vosotros se endurezca con engaño de pecado:
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
Pues nos hemos convertido en compañeros de Cristo, si mantenemos firmemente nuestra confianza en Él desde el principio hasta el fin.
Porque participantes de Cristo somos hechos, con tal que conservemos firme hasta el fin el principio de nuestra confianza;
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
Acerca de esto se ha dicho: "HOY, SI USTEDES ESCUCHAN SU VOZ, NO ENDUREZCAN SUS CORAZONES COMO EN LA REBELIÓN."
Entre tanto que se dice: Si oyereis hoy su voz, no endurezcáis vuestros corazones, como en la provocación.
While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
¿Quién fue el que escuchó a Dios y se rebeló? ¿No fueron todos aquellos que salieron de Egipto por medio de Moisés?
Porque algunos de los que habían salido de Egipto con Moisés, habiendo oído, provocaron, aunque no todos.
For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?
¿Con quién estuvo Él enojado por cuarenta años? ¿No fue con aquellos que pecaron, cuyos cuerpos muertos cayeron en el desierto?
Mas ¿con cuáles estuvo enojado cuarenta años? ¿No fué con los que pecaron, cuyos cuerpos cayeron en el desierto?
But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
¿A quiénes Él juró que no entrarían en Su reposo, sino fue a esos que le desobedecieron?
¿Y á quiénes juró que no entrarían en su reposo, sino á aquellos que no obedecieron?
And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
Vemos que ellos no fueron capaces de entrar en Su reposo por su incredulidad.
Y vemos que no pudieron entrar á causa de incredulidad.
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.
