Por lo tanto, nosotros debemos prestar mucha más atención a lo que hemos escuchado, para que no nos alejemos de ello.
POR tanto, es menester que con más diligencia atendamos á las cosas que hemos oído, porque acaso no nos escurramos.

¿cómo entonces podremos escapar si nosotros ignoramos una salvación tan grande? Esta es la salvación que fue primero anunciada por el Señor y confirmada a nosotros por aquellos quienes la escucharon.
¿Cómo escaparemos nosotros, si tuviéremos en poco una salud tan grande? La cual, habiendo comenzado á ser publicada por el Señor, ha sido confirmada hasta nosotros por los que oyeron;
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Al mismo tiempo Dios testificó de ella por señales, maravillas y varias obras poderosas, y distribuyendo los dones del Espíritu Santo de acuerdo a Su voluntad.
Testificando juntamente con ellos Dios, con señales y milagros, y diversas maravillas, y repartimientos del Espíritu Santo según su voluntad.

Porque no fue a los ángeles que Dios sujetó al mundo venidero, del cual estamos hablando.

But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

TÚ HICISTE AL HOMBRE POCO MENOS QUE LOS ÁNGELES; LO CORONASTE CON GLORIA Y HONOR. TÚ PUSISTE TODO EN SUJECIÓN BAJO SUS PIES."
Tú le hiciste un poco menor que los ángeles, coronástele de gloria y de honra, y pusístele sobre las obras de tus manos;
Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.
Porque fue a Él a quien Dios ha sujetado todas las cosas. Él no ha dejado nada sin sujetarlo a Él. Pero ahora, todavía nosotros no vemos todo sujetado a Él.

Pero nosotros vemos Aquél quien fue hecho un poco inferior a los ángeles, por un periodo breve de tiempo, Jesús, quien por causa de Su sufrimiento y muerte ha sido coronado con gloria y honor. Así que ahora, por la gracia de Dios, Él ha probado muerte por cada hombre.
Empero vemos coronado de gloria y de honra, por el padecimiento de muerte, á aquel Jesús que es hecho un poco menor que los ángeles, para que por gracia de Dios gustase la muerte por todos.

Porque era apropiado para Dios, porque todo existe para Él y por medio de Él, para traer muchos hijos a la gloria. Era apropiado para Él hacer al líder de su salvación completo por medio de Sus sufrimientos,.
Porque convenía que aquel por cuya causa son todas las cosas, y por el cual todas las cosas subsisten, habiendo de llevar á la gloria á muchos hijos, hiciese consumado por aflicciones al autor de la salud de ellos.

Diciendo: Anunciaré á mis hermanos tu nombre, en medio de la congregación te alabaré.
Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

Y otra vez: "YO CONFIARÉ EN ÉL." Y otra vez: "VEAN, AQUÍ ESTOY Y LOS HIJOS A QUIENES DIOS ME HA DADO."
Y otra vez: Yo confiaré en él. Y otra vez: He aquí, yo y los hijos que me dió Dios.
And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
Again, “I will put my trust in him.” Again, “Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me.”
Por lo tanto, desde que los hijos de Dios comparten carne y sangre, Jesús también compartió las mismas cosas con ellos, para que a través de la muerte Él pudiera eliminar a aquél quien tuvo el poder de la muerte, esto es, al diablo.
Así que, por cuanto los hijos participaron de carne y sangre, él también participó de lo mismo, para destruir por la muerte al que tenía el imperio de la muerte, es á saber, al diablo,
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Esto fue para que Él pudiera liberar TODO aquellos, quienes por miedo a la muerte, vivieron todas sus vidas en esclavitud.
Y librar á los que por el temor de la muerte estaban por toda la vida sujetos á servidumbre.

Por supuesto, no es con los ángeles que Él está preocupado; en cambio, Él está preocupado por la semilla de Abraham.

Por tanto, era necesario para Él hacerse como sus hermanos en todas las maneras, para que Él fuera un sumo sacerdote, misericordioso y fiel en cuanto a las cosas de Dios, así que Él pudiera traer consigo el perdón por los pecados de las personas.
Por lo cual, debía ser en todo semejante á los hermanos, para venir á ser misericordioso y fiel Pontífice en lo que es para con Dios, para expiar los pecados del pueblo.
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Porque Jesús mismo ha sufrido y fue tentado, Él es capaz de ayudar a aquéllos quienes son tentados.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
