1und: Du, HERR, hast von Anfang die Erde gegründet, und die Himmel sind deiner Hände Werk.
2Dieselbigen werden vergehen, du aber wirst bleiben; und sie werden alle veralten wie ein Kleid,
3und wie ein Gewand wirst du sie wandeln, und sie werden sich verwandeln. Du aber bist derselbige, und deine Jahre werden nicht aufhören.
4Zu welchem Engel aber hat er jemals gesagt: Setze dich zu meiner Rechten, bis ich lege deine Feinde zum Schemel deiner Füße?
5Sind sie nicht allzumal dienstbare Geister, ausgesandt zum Dienst um derer willen, die ererben sollen die Seligkeit?
6Darum sollen wir desto mehr wahrnehmen des Worts, das wir hören, daß wir nicht dahinfahren.
7Denn so das Wort fest worden ist, das durch die Engel geredet ist, und eine jegliche Übertretung und Ungehorsam hat empfangen seinen rechten Lohn:
8wie wollen wir entfliehen, so wir eine solche Seligkeit nicht achten? welche, nachdem sie erstlich geprediget ist durch den HERRN, ist sie auf uns kommen durch die, so es gehöret haben.
9Und Gott hat ihr Zeugnis gegeben mit Zeichen, Wundern und mancherlei Kräften und mit Austeilung des Heiligen Geistes nach seinem Willen.
10Denn er hat nicht den Engeln untertan die zukünftige Welt, davon wir reden.
11Es bezeuget aber einer an einem Ort und spricht: Was ist der Mensch, daß du sein gedenkest, und des Menschen Sohn, daß du ihn heimsuchest?
12Du hast ihn eine kleine Zeit der Engel mangeln lassen; mit Preis und Ehren hast du ihn gekrönet und hast ihn gesetzt über die Werke deiner Hände;
13alles hast du untertan zu seinen Füßen. In dem, daß er ihm alles hat untertan, hat er nichts gelassen, das ihm nicht untertan sei; jetzt aber sehen wir noch nicht, daß ihm alles untertan sei.
14Den aber, der eine kleine Zeit der Engel gemangelt hat, sehen wir, daß es Jesus ist, durch Leiden des Todes gekrönet mit Preis und Ehren, auf daß er von Gottes Gnaden für alle den Tod schmeckete.

1DIOS, habiendo hablado muchas veces y en muchas maneras en otro tiempo á los padres por los profetas,
2En estos postreros días nos ha hablado por el Hijo, al cual constituyó heredero de todo, por el cual asimismo hizo el universo:
3El cual siendo el resplandor de su gloria, y la misma imagen de su sustancia, y sustentando todas las cosas con la palabra de su potencia, habiendo hecho la purgación de nuestros pecados por sí mismo, se sentó á la diestra de la Majestad en las alturas,
4Hecho tanto más excelente que los ángeles, cuanto alcanzó por herencia más excelente nombre que ellos.
5Porque ¿á cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás: Mi hijo eres tú, hoy yo te he engendrado? y otra vez: Yo seré á él Padre, y él me será á mí hijo?
6Y otra vez, cuando introduce al Primogénito en la tierra, dice: Y adórenle todos los ángeles de Dios.
7Y ciertamente de los ángeles dice: El que hace á sus ángeles espíritus, y á sus ministros llama de fuego.
8Mas al hijo: Tu trono, oh Dios, por el siglo del siglo; vara de equidad la vara de tu reino;
9Has amado la justicia, y aborrecido la maldad; por lo cual te ungió Dios, el Dios tuyo, con óleo de alegría más que á tus compañeros.
10Y: Tú, oh Señor, en el principio fundaste la tierra; y los cielos son obras de tus manos:
11Ellos perecerán, mas tú eres permanente; y todos ellos se envejecerán como una vestidura;
12Y como un vestido los envolverás, y serán mudados; empero tú eres el mismo, y tus años no acabarán.
13Pues, ¿á cuál de los ángeles dijo jamás: Siéntate á mi diestra, hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies?
14¿No son todos espíritus administradores, enviados para servicio á favor de los que serán herederos de salud?

1God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
World English Bible
1God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
2has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
3His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,
4having become as much better than the angels as the more excellent name he has inherited is better than theirs.
5For to which of the angels did he say at any time, “You are my Son. Today I have become your father?” and again, “I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?”
6When he again brings in the firstborn into the world he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him.”
7Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire.”
8But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom.
9You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.”
10And, “You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands.
11They will perish, but you continue. They all will grow old like a garment does.
12You will roll them up like a mantle, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years won’t fail.”
13But which of the angels has he told at any time, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?”
14Aren’t they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
