17Obedeçam aos seus líderes espirituais e estejam prontos a fazer o que eles disserem. Porque o trabalho deles é cuidar de vocês, e Deus julgará se eles fazem isso bem. Deem-lhes motivo para prestarem contas de vocês ao Senhor com alegria, e não com tristeza, pois nesse caso vocês também sofrerão com isso.

17Obedeced á vuestros pastores, y sujetaos á ellos; porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como aquellos que han de dar cuenta; para que lo hagan con alegría, y no gimiendo; porque esto no os es útil.

17Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

17Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.
