Por lo tanto, ya que estamos rodeados por tan grande nube de testigos, dejemos a un lado todo peso y fácil enredo del pecado. Corramos pacientemente la carrera que está puesta ante nosotros.
POR tanto nosotros también, teniendo en derredor nuestro una tan grande nube de testigos, dejando todo el peso del pecado que nos rodea, corramos con paciencia la carrera que nos es propuesta,
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Prestemos atención a Jesús, el principiante y perfeccionador de la fe. Por el gozo que fue puesto delante de Él, soportó la cruz, menospreció su vergüenza, y se sentó a la mano derecha del trono de Dios.
Puestos los ojos en al autor y consumador de la fe, en Jesús; el cual, habiéndole sido propuesto gozo, sufrió la cruz, menospreciando la vergüenza, y sentóse á la diestra del trono de Dios.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Así que piensen sobre Él, Aquel que ha soportado tal oposición de pecadores contra Él mismo, para que ustedes no se cansen en sus corazones y se rindan.
Reducid pues á vuestro pensamiento á aquel que sufrió tal contradicción de pecadores contra sí mismo, porque no os fatiguéis en vuestros ánimos desmayando.
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls.
Ustedes aún no han resistido ni luchado contra el pecado hasta el punto de sangre.
Que aun no habéis resistido hasta la sangre, combatiendo contra el pecado:
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin.
Y ustedes han olvidado el aliento que les instruye como a hijos: "MI HIJO, NO PIENSES LIGERAMENTE SOBRE LA DISCIPLINA DEL SEÑOR NI TE CANSES CUANDO ERES CORREGIDO POR Él.
Y estáis ya olvidados de la exhortación que como con hijos habla con vosotros, diciendo: Hijo mío, no menosprecies el castigo del Señor, ni desmayes cuando eres de él reprendido.
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, “My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;
PORQUE EL SEÑOR DISCIPLINA A TODOS LOS QUE ÉL AMA, Y EL CASTIGA A TODO HIJO A QUIEN EL RECIBE".
Porque el Señor al que ama castiga, y azota á cualquiera que recibe por hijo.
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”
Soporten el sufrimiento como disciplina. Dios trata con ustedes como hijos. Pero, ¿qué hijo es que su padre no disciplina?
Si sufrís el castigo, Dios se os presenta como á hijos; porque ¿qué hijo es aquel á quien el padre no castiga?
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?
Pero si ustedes están sin disciplina, la cual toda la gente comparte, entonces ustedes son ilegítimos y no Sus hijos.
Mas si estáis fuera del castigo, del cual todos han sido hechos participantes, luego sois bastardos, y no hijos.
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children.
Más aún, nosotros tuvimos padres terrenales que nos disciplinaron, y nosotros los respetábamos. ¿No deberíamos entonces obedecer mucho más al Padre de los espíritus, y vivir?
Por otra parte, tuvimos por castigadores á los padres de nuestra carne, y los reverenciábamos, ¿por qué no obedeceremos mucho mejor al Padre de los espíritus, y viviremos?
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
Porque por una mano, nuestros padres nos disciplinaron por unos pocos días, como le pareció correcto a ellos. Pero por otra, Dios lo hace para nuestro bien para que podamos compartir Su santidad.
Y aquéllos, á la verdad, por pocos días nos castigaban como á ellos les parecía, mas éste para lo que nos es provechoso, para que recibamos su santificación.
For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

Ninguna disciplina parece placentera al momento, pero bastante dolorosa. Sin embargo, esta después produce el fruto pacífico de justicia para aquellos quienes han sido entrenados por ella.
Es verdad que ningún castigo al presente parece ser causa de gozo, sino de tristeza; mas después da fruto apacible de justicia á los que en él son ejercitados.
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
Así que fortalezcan sus manos que cuelgan y sus rodillas débiles.
Por lo cual alzad las manos caídas y las rodillas paralizadas;
Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,
Hagan caminos rectos para sus pies, para lo que sea cojo no sea torcido sino que sea sanado.
Y haced derechos pasos á vuestros pies, porque lo que es cojo no salga fuera de camino, antes sea sanado.
And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

Persigan la paz con todos, y también la santidad sin la cual nadie verá al Señor.

Tengan cuidado para que a nadie le falte la gracia de Dios, y que ninguna raíz de amargura crezca para causar problema, para que muchos no sean contaminado por ella.
Mirando bien que ninguno se aparte de la gracia de Dios, que ninguna raíz de amargura brotando os impida, y por ella muchos sean contaminados;
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it,
Tengan cuidado que no haya ninguna inmoralidad sexual o persona impía como Esaú, quién por una comida vendió su derecho de nacimiento.
Que ninguno sea fornicario, ó profano, como Esaú, que por una vianda vendió su primogenitura.
Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

Porque ustedes saben que después, cuando él deseó heredar la bendición, él fue rechazado, porque él no encontró oportunidad para el arrepentimiento, aunque lo buscó con lágrimas.

For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

Porque ustedes no han venido a una montaña que puede ser tocada, una montaña de fuego ardiente, oscuridad, penumbra y tormenta.
Porque no os habéis llegado al monte que se podía tocar, y al fuego encendido, y al turbión, y á la oscuridad, y á la tempestad,
For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, storm,
Ustedes no han venido a un toque de trompeta, ni a una voz que habla palabras cuyos oyentes suplicaron que ninguna otra palabra les fuera hablada.
Y al sonido de la trompeta, y á la voz de las palabras, la cual los que la oyeron rogaron que no se les hablase más;
And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

Porque ellos no pudieron soportar lo que les fue ordernado: "SI INCLUSO UN ANIMAL TOCA LA MONTAÑA, DEBE SER APEDREADO".
Porque no podían tolerar lo que se mandaba: Si bestia tocare al monte, será apedreada, ó pasada con dardo.
(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
for they could not stand that which was commanded, “If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned”.
Tan temerosa fue esta visión que Moisés dijo: "ESTOY ATERRADO Y TEMBLANDO".
Y tan terrible cosa era lo que se veía, que Moisés dijo: Estoy asombrado y temblando.
And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

En su lugar, ustedes han venido al Monte Sión y a la ciudad del Dios viviente, la Jerusalén celestial, y a decenas de millares de ángeles en celebración.
Mas os habéis llegado al monte de Sión, y á la ciudad del Dios vivo, Jerusalem la celestial, y á la compañía de muchos millares de ángeles,
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Ustedes han venido a la asamblea de los primogénitos que han sido registrados en el cielo. Han venido a Dios el Juez de todos, y a los espíritus de los justos que han sido perfeccionados.
Y á la congregación de los primogénitos que están alistados en los cielos, y á Dios el Juez de todos, y á los espíritus de los justos hechos perfectos,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Ustedes han venido a Jesús, el Mediador de un nuevo pacto, y a la sangre rociada que habla mejor que la sangre de Abel.
Y á Jesús el Mediador del nuevo testamento, y á la sangre del esparcimiento que habla mejor que la de Abel.
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Miren que ustedes no rechazen a aquél que está hablando. Pues si ellos no escaparon cuando rechazaron a aquel que les advirtió en la tierra, mucho menos escaparemos nosotros, si nos alejamos de Aquél que nos está advirtiendo desde el cielo.
Mirad que no desechéis al que habla. Porque si aquellos no escaparon que desecharon al que hablaba en la tierra, mucho menos nosotros, si desecháramos al que habla de los cielos.
See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,
En un momento Su voz estremeció la tierra. Pero ahora Él ha prometido y dicho: "UNA VEZ MÁS, YO ESTREMECERÉ NO SOLO LA TIERRA, SINO TAMBIEN LOS CIELOS."
La voz del cual entonces conmovió la tierra; mas ahora ha denunciado, diciendo: Aun una vez, y yo conmoveré no solamente la tierra, mas aun el cielo.
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

Estas palabras: "UNA VEZ MÁS", significan la remoción de las cosas que pueden ser estremecidas, eso es, de las cosas que han sido creadas, para que las cosas que no pueden ser estremecidas permanezcan.
Y esta palabra, Aun una vez, declara la mudanza de las cosas movibles, como de cosas hechas, para que queden las cosas que son firmes.
And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
This phrase, “Yet once more” signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.
Por lo tanto, recibiendo un reino que no puede ser estremecido, seamos agradecidos y de esta manera adoremos a Dios con reverencia y temor.
Así que, tomando el reino inmóvil, retengamos la gracia por la cual sirvamos á Dios agradándole con temor y reverencia;
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can’t be shaken, let’s have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,
Porque nuestro Dios es un fuego consumidor.
