Altri poi provarono e gli scherni, e le battiture, e di più le catene, e le prigioni:

Otros experimentaron vituperios y azotes; y á más de esto prisiones y cárceles;

And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
