Car il attendait la cité qui a des fondements, dont Dieu est l'architecte et le fondateur.

Porque esperaba ciudad con fundamentos, el artífice y hacedor de la cual es Dios.

For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

For he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
