Hebreos 10

Imperocché la legge avente l'ombra de' beni futuri, non la stessa espressa immagine delle cose, con quel le ostie, che continuamente offeriscono ogn'anno, non può mai rendere perfetti color, che sagrificano:

PORQUE la ley, teniendo la sombra de los bienes venideros, no la imagen misma de las cosas, nunca puede, por los mismos sacrificios que ofrecen continuamente cada año, hacer perfectos á los que se allegan.

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

Altrimenti si sarebbe cessato di offerirle; dappoiché purificati una volta i sagrificatori, non sarebber più consapevoli a loro stessi di peccato:

De otra manera cesarían de ofrecerse; porque los que tributan este culto, limpios de una vez, no tendrían más conciencia de pecado.

For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?

Ma io queste (ostie) si fa commemorazione ogni anno de' peccati:

Empero en estos sacrificios cada año se hace conmemoración de los pecados.

But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

But in those sacrifices there is a yearly reminder of sins.

Impossibile essendo, che col sangue de' tori, e de' capri tolgansi i peccati.

Porque la sangre de los toros y de los machos cabríos no puede quitar los pecados.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

Per la qual cosa entrando nel mondo, dice: non hai voluto ostia, né oblazione: ma a me hai formato un corpo:

Por lo cual, entrando en el mundo, dice: Sacrificio y presente no quisiste; mas me apropiaste cuerpo:

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, “You didn’t desire sacrifice and offering, but you prepared a body for me.

Non sono a te piaciuti gli olocausti per lo peccato.

Holocaustos y expiaciones por el pecado no te agradaron.

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.

Allora io dissi: ecco ch'io vengo nella testata del libro è stato scritto di me) per fare, o Dio, la tua volontà.

Entonces dije: Heme aquí (en la cabecera del libro está escrito de mí) para que haga, oh Dios, tu voluntad.

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.’”

Avendo detto di sopra: le ostie, le obblazioni, e gli olocausti pel peccato non gli hai voluti, né sono a te piaciuti, le quali cose secondo la legge si offeriscono:

Diciendo arriba: Sacrificio y presente, y holocaustos y expiaciones por el pecado no quisiste, ni te agradaron, (las cuales cosas se ofrecen según la ley,)

Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

Previously saying, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them” (those which are offered according to the law),

Allora dissi: ecco, che io vengo per fare, o Dio, la tua volontà: toglie il primo, per istabilire il secondo.

Entonces dijo: Heme aquí para que haga, oh Dios, tu voluntad. Quita lo primero, para establecer lo postrero.

Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,

E per questa volontà siamo stati santificati mediante l'obblazione del corpo di Gesù Cristo (fatta) una volta.

En la cual voluntad somos santificados por la ofrenda del cuerpo de Jesucristo hecha una sola vez.

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

E ogni sacerdote sta pronto tuttodì al ministero, e offerendo sovente le stesse ostie le quale non possono mai togliere i peccati:

Así que, todo sacerdote se presenta cada día ministrando y ofreciendo muchas veces los mismos sacrificios, que nunca pueden quitar los pecados:

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,

Ma questi, offerta per sempre una sola ostia pei peccati, siede alla destra di Dio,

Pero éste, habiendo ofrecido por los pecados un solo sacrificio para siempre, está sentado á la diestra de Dios,

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God,

Aspettando del rimanente il tempo, che i nemici di lui siano posti sgabello a' suoi piedi.

Esperando lo que resta, hasta que sus enemigos sean puestos por estrado de sus pies.

From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.

Imperocché con una sola obblazione rendette perfetti in perpetuo que', che sono santificati.

Porque con una sola ofrenda hizo perfectos para siempre á los santificados.

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

Ce lo attesta anche lo Spirito santo. Imperocché dopo di aver detto:

Y atestíguanos lo mismo el Espíritu Santo; que después que dijo:

Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

The Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after saying,

Questa (è) l'alleanza, che io ritrarrò con essi dopo que' giorni, dice il Signore: inserirò le mie leggi ne' loro cuori, e nelle menti loro le scriverò:

Y este es el pacto que haré con ellos después de aquellos días, dice el Señor: Daré mis leyes en sus corazones, y en sus almas las escribiré;

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,” says the Lord, “I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;” then he says,

E de' peccati, e delle iniquità loro non mi ricorderò già più.

Añade: Y nunca más me acordaré de sus pecados é iniquidades.

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

“I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more.”

Or dov'(è) di questi la remissione: non v'ha già più obblazione ed peccato.

Pues donde hay remisión de éstos, no hay más ofrenda por pecado.

Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Avendo adunque, o fratelli, la fidanza di entrare nel santo de' santi pel sangue di Cristo,

Así que, hermanos, teniendo libertad para entrar en el santuario por la sangre de Jesucristo,

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,

Per quella, che egli per noi consagrò, strada nuova, e di vita, pel velo, cioè per la carne di lui,

Por el camino que él nos consagró nuevo y vivo, por el velo, esto es, por su carne;

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh,

E (avendo) un gran sacerdote, che presiede alla casa di Dio:

Y teniendo un gran sacerdote sobre la casa de Dios,

And having an high priest over the house of God;

and having a great priest over God’s house,

Accostiamoci con cuor sincero, con pienezza di fede, purgati il cuore dalla mala coscienza, e lavato il corpo coll'acqua monda,

Lleguémonos con corazón verdadero, en plena certidumbre de fe, purificados los corazones de mala conciencia, y lavados los cuerpos con agua limpia.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and having our body washed with pure water,

Conserviamo non vacillante la professione della nostra speranza, (imperocché fedele è colui, che ha promesso)

Mantengamos firme la profesión de nuestra fe sin fluctuar; que fiel es el que prometió:

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.

E siamo attenti gli uni agli altri per istimolarci alla carità, e alle opere buone:

Y considerémonos los unos á los otros para provocarnos al amor y á las buenas obras;

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,

Non abbandonando le nostre adunanze, come vogliono far taluni, ma facendovi animo, e tanto più, quanto che vedete avvicinarsi quel giorno.

No dejando nuestra congregación, como algunos tienen por costumbre, mas exhortándonos; y tanto más, cuanto veis que aquel día se acerca.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Imperocché volontariamente peccando noi dopo ricevuta la cognizione della verità, non ci resta già ostia poi peccati,

Porque si pecáremos voluntariamente después de haber recibido el conocimiento de la verdad, ya no queda sacrificio por el pecado.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,

Ma una terribile espettazione del giudizio, e l'ardore del fuoco, che sta per consumare i nemici.

Sino una horrenda esperanza de juicio, y hervor de fuego que ha de devorar á los adversarios.

But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.

Uno, che viola la legge di Mosè, sul deposto di due, o di tre testimoni muore senza alcuna remissione:

El que menospreciare la ley de Moisés, por el testimonio de dos ó de tres testigos muere sin ninguna misericordia:

He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

A man who disregards Moses’ law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.

Quanto più acerbi supplizi pensate voi, che si meriti chi avrà calpestato il Figliuolo di Dio, ed il sangue del testamento, in cui fu santificato, avrà tenuto come profano, ed avrà fatto oltraggio allo spirito di grazia?

¿Cuánto pensáis que será más digno de mayor castigo, el que hollare al Hijo de Dios, y tuviere por inmunda la sangre del testamento, en la cual fué santificado, é hiciere afrenta al Espíritu de gracia?

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

How much worse punishment do you think he will be judged worthy of who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Imperocché sappiamo chi è colui, che disse: a me la vendetta, e io renderò il contraccambio. E di nuovo: il Signore giudicherai il suo popolo.

Sabemos quién es el que dijo: Mía es la venganza, yo daré el pago, dice el Señor. Y otra vez: El Señor juzgará su pueblo.

For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

For we know him who said, “Vengeance belongs to me. I will repay,” says the Lord. Again, “The Lord will judge his people.”

Orrenda cosa ella è il cadere nelle mani di Dio vivo.

Horrenda cosa es caer en las manos del Dios vivo.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Richiamate alla memoria quei primi giorni, ne' quali essendo stati illuminati, sosteneste conflitto grande di patimenti.

Empero traed á la memoria los días pasados, en los cuales, después de haber sido iluminados, sufristeis gran combate de aflicciones:

But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:

Ed ora divenuti spettacolo di obbrobrio, e di tribolazione: ora fatti compagni di coloro, che erano in tale stato.

Por una parte, ciertamente, con vituperios y tribulaciones fuisteis hechos espectáculo; y por otra parte hechos compañeros de los que estaban en tal estado.

Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

partly, being exposed to both reproaches and oppressions, and partly, becoming partakers with those who were treated so.

Imperocché e foste compassione voli verso de' carcerati, e con gaudio accettaste la rapina de' vostri beni, conoscendo di avere migliori, e durevoli sostanze.

Porque de mis prisiones también os resentisteis conmigo, y el robo de vuestros bienes padecisteis con gozo, conociendo que tenéis en vosotros una mejor sustancia en los cielos, y que permanece.

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

For you both had compassion on me in my chains and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.

Non vogliate adunque far getto della vostra fidanza, la quale ha una gran ricompensa.

No perdáis pues vuestra confianza, que tiene grande remuneración de galardón:

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.

Imperocché necessaria è a voi la pazienza: affinchè facendo la volontà di Dio, entriate al possesso delle promesse.

Porque la paciencia os es necesaria; para que, habiendo hecho la voluntad de Dios, obtengáis la promesa.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

Imperocché ancora un tantino, e quegli, che dee venire, verrà, e non tarderà.

Porque aun un poquito, y el que ha de venir vendrá, y no tardará.

For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

“In a very little while, he who comes will come and will not wait.

Ma il mio giusto vive di fede: che se si ritirerà indietro, non sarà accetto all'anima mia.

Ahora el justo vivirá por fe; mas si se retirare, no agradará á mi alma.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

But the righteous one will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

Ma noi non siamo da tirarci indietro per perderci, ma fedeli per far acquisto dell'anima. Celebra magnificamente la fede, riportando le azioni de' Padri dal principio del mondo sino a Davidde, e ai Profeti: e generalmente dimostra, quanto grandi cose abbiano fatte, e patite mediante la fede: e con tutto ciò non hanno ancor ricevuta la piena lor ricompensa.

Pero nosotros no somos tales que nos retiremos para perdición, sino fieles para ganancia del alma.

But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
